I attended on Friday 4th April 2025 to have a wounded thumb re-dressed. The service I received from the nurse was competent, reassuring, pleasant and overall outstanding

  2. Review titled Great hospital

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I went to Teddington hospital this morning with a swollen right ankle and a painful right foot. The receptionist was very friendly, professional & efficient. I was seen by a great nurse, a radiographer and all the staff were caring and patient. Thank goodness I was x-rayed, as I have a fracture on my foot. The nurse has referred me to the fracture clinic at West Middlesex hospital for further treatment and reviews. They were kind and reassuring, talking me patiently through each procedure. The hospital is such a good place to be treated in.

  4. Review titled Best Urgent Care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ella Robinson - Posted on 20 January 2025

I attended the urgent care clinic yesterday (Sunday morning, around 9am) after feeling apprehensive about the advice I received from 111 the day before. I truly couldn't have had a more positive experience at Teddington Memorial. I was seen by a fantastic nurse who was as professional as she was jolly, and put me right to ease, or at least as much to ease as you can be whilst your tonsil is bleeding! The process in it's entirety of sat in the waiting room to being referred and shipped off to St. George's for further reviewal was 45 minutes! I truly can't sing your praises enough. Thank you so much!

  5. Review titled Great process management and care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

A well run urgent care centre staffed by people who have empathy and skill. Clear processes and communication in a clean and cared for environment. The process was smooth and well managed. The nurse practitioner who provided medical aid was excellent and brilliantly enthusiastic for 8am on a cold Sunday. The skills show and communication provided throughout was of the highest standard. Tax payers money well spent and the department has a positive and supportive culture towards it service users.

  6. Review titled No help

Rated 4 stars out of 5

My husband attended at 8am this morning with a black upper eyelid which he noticed when he woke up Thursday morning. A mystery. I encouraged him to go to walk in. His treatment? Stereotyping and patronising attitude from triage nurse & doctor she brought to him. She suggested he'd been drinking/in a fight. Doctor suggested same and maybe he had forgotton (due to drinking) or indeed been assaulted at home. My husband rarely has a drink and does not fight. He works long hours. We are so disappointed and let down by these 2 staff members at Teddington Walk-In. Have always had brilliant service but this is a shocking experience. My husband has been left annoyed and worried about his eye. No help, just prejudice for a 68 yr old Irish man. Shame on you both.

Excellent friendly staff on reception, nursing and in X-ray. Amazing snack shop and free parking. Made my trip on crutches much easier. In and out within an hour. Will avoid A&E and go here when possible in the future!

  9. Review titled Very effective Nursing

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Dennis - Posted on 07 August 2024

Arrived with a long-standing leg wound on 07.08.24. Once again I received prompt, polite and professional treatment. On this occasion I was seen by a nurse whose assessment put my situation into context and suggested a new treatment path. She gave me clear advice as to steps I could take and was so concerned that she phoned me shortly after I left to say that she had made an appointment with my GP for 2pm the following day. Awesome. A credit to the unit, her profession and the NHS. I am sure that my late mother, a nursing sister, would be pleased at her work. Thank you NHS.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I recently attended this hospital where I was greeted by a young man who took my details. He was courteous and professional. I waited a short period to see a charming doctor who calmed my worries and dealt with me in a kind professional manner. Excellent service all round.
