  2. Review titled Excellent treatment / Departmental contact - very poor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Joyce McArthur - Posted on 28 November 2022

I have tried to contact by phone on 9 occasions this morning but find it impossible to reach an appropriate phone line. The ones suggested either say ring back as busy or leave a message. As I am out for the rest of the day I am concerned that I don't get my query resolved any time soon. Sorting a simple problem should not leave a patient feeling stressed or distressed.

  3. Review titled A circumcision and penile biopsy

    by oldmanj02 - Posted on 24 November 2022

I was there for 7:30 am. I was treated very well from start to finish. I could not fault this procedure at all. The team put me at ease, and I was home for 1 pm.

  5. Review titled Great Doctor

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 November 2022

I would like to say thank you to the doctor who went over and beyond in helping me today. This was the second time in Childrens A & E this week! Just wish the first experience I had in A & E was the same! The doctor was amazing and deserves a pay rise ! He listened and recognised that a child of 10 years of age needed some help in trying to get him better and not just leaving him in discomfort. The doctor reassured me that I could go back to A & E if the symptoms got worse, on the first visit to A & E we were made to feel like a burden this should never be the case for anyone especially when it’s a child. Thank you again to the lovely Doctor who was genuinely concerned . He prescribed medication yet 2 days before he was sent home in discomfort with nothing.

  6. Review titled Rude midwifes/nurses on maternity ward

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 September 2024

Only doctors/consultants were brilliant! Nurses/midwifes should go back to school and learn how to treat their patients. Before birth, no one gave me a glass of juice, even after myself being polite, repeatedly asking. I was told yes, but being ignored. After c-section, on the ward, she told me off not to fall asleep, to bottle feed my baby, but no help at all. I was obviously under anesthesia effect still. Everyone new mother had curtain on, they asked me to keep mine off, ''for checks" You stand up and do checks, not watching me sitting on your chair. I know when nurses and doctors put heart in what they do, I am also a nurse, but maternity nurses and midwifes didn't. After birth,
