  1. Review titled Cardiology Dept

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I tried in vain (repeat in vain!!!!!) over several days to cancel and rearrange an appointment with the cardiology department. Sometimes the phone 0207 288 5691 was engaged and sometimes it rang and rang and rang!! The number above is correct because i was sent a text giving this number. Ugh!!

  3. Review titled Not a great hospital. Staff clearly over worked.

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Helene Sundhagen - Posted on 01 September 2022

I’ve decided to have my baby at the Whittington, and the investments the hospitals have made into the maternity ward are good. However, the support from the general hospital staff have not been great, only once have a I met a helpful person in reception. When calling through to triage there was no answer. There is no parking around the hospital, making visits really difficult and expensive.

  4. Review titled Thanks to the porters!

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Helen - Posted on 05 September 2022

I was sent to the hospital for an x-ray after a very painful leg injury. I was using a broom handle to help me walk, with a helping hand from my son, but was in a great deal of pain. As we reached the main entrance a lovely, smiling, porter with a wheelchair greeted us, and wheeled me up to the imaging department, where I was seen within ten minutes. The very helpful radiologist then rang for a porter, who kindly took me down to the area at the front of the hospital to get a taxi home. I was quite moved by their kindness, and would like to thank them all for their help.

  5. Review titled A&e worst than any developing country

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 August 2022

Never seen anything like it. People on the floor for hours. I mean we got in at 11 and the same people were still on the floor at 6pm. The stench was horrendous. Had to hold my breath whenever I crossed the room. Poo all over the loo. Not a little bit. Serious explosion all over. The most disgusting place I’ve ever set foot in. Everyone piled up without masks. If they didnt have covid when they arrived they definitely left with it. I’ve never seen anything like this. Seriously shocking and heartbreaking. Once we got through the place was so under resourced. Weekend meant we had to be admitted for two days to wait for a specialist to be available on Monday. Meanwhile my son is deteriorating in a ward. Waiting for Monday…I don’t know how bad things need to get before people wake up and decide this is just crazy

  6. Review titled An excellent colonoscopy

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by John Attree - Posted on 06 July 2022

I had a colonoscopy including the excision of three polyps, in an outpatient visit completed within three hours. My entire experience - admission, preparation, the procedure itself, recovery - was simply outstanding. Every member of the hospital staff who I met was friendly, professional and efficient. I'm very grateful to the consultant who carried out the procedure, her nursing team, and to everyone else who was involved. For me, this was a shining example of the NHS working as it should and at its best. Full marks, five stars, thank you!
