    my husband got metal in his eye while working, his eye hurt a lot and watered. we waited two hours before the nurse asked some questions and told us to wait another 3 hours. this is normal??? there are cases when people can wait, but there are really cases when you just need to get help first... I'm shocked... I don't understand the system...

    I attended for an orthopaedic appointment. I required an x Ray which was done by kind and cheerful staff.I was then very fortunate to see my consultant who was superb and explained everything. Everyone was kind and I left feeling I know what to expect .

    Last Sunday, I came a cropper on a slippery, muddy bank and landed on my wrist. I thought it might be fractured. I arrived in A&E at around 5pm. By 5.30 I had been triaged, xrayed and given an appointment to come back at 8pm. Duly arrived and waited 30 minutes. Seen, diagnosed and treated. On Monday afternoon the discharge letter was on my GPs portal in East Yorkshire. Everyone from reception, triage, xray and practitioner were all brilliant. What an outstanding service from beginning to end from this incredibly hardworking team. As a retired NHS consultant I honestly can say I've never seen better. Oh, and they didnt know I was a doctor so it certainly wasn't mates rates!

    Over-crowded waiting area. The clinic ran 1 hr and 30 mins late. I was treated with contempt by a junior doctor on a power trip. Given a patient-initiated follow-up without any details of how to get an appt. Asked three times and met with silence ? Needed a patient-initiated follow-up and was told by a rude Booking Team member that the only appt was for Feb 2025. When pointed out that the pifu/sos appointment details on the nhs website were not being met told not her problem and to go and query this with the writer of website ? Do not accept patient-initiated follow-up is my advice as it is a ruse to get rid of you. Staff attitudes at this hospital are appalling.

    I was admitted by ambulance very early in the morning with a fractured hip. The team in A&E were caring, supportive and explained exactly what they were doing at each stage. The team were professional, whilst maintaining a friendly and approachable manner and continually checked how I was feeling and what level of pain I was experiencing so they could give appropriate medication. The professional attitude continued when I was admitted to Ward 30 the following day and after my hip surgery. Across the lovely, smiling nursing team, the cleaner of the room I was in, the doctors and the anaesthetists, the physios, everyone found the time to check how I felt, explain procedures and make my period in hospital as least traumatic as possible. Thank you for helping me when I needed it.

    My Mother was in ward 31 for just over 5 weeks, every nurse, dr , occupational therapist , physical therapist and ward staff showed great care , compassion and professionalism Such great detailed care was given

    I arrived at Tunbridge Wells Hospital early Sunday Morning with my wife as I was experiencing a very uncomfortable pain in my chest I felt concerned something was not right fortunately I did not have to wait long before the very pleasant triage nurse sent us straight through for ECG then I was sent to the assessment area treated with kindness the whole time tests showed a cardiac problem I was taken to the Coronary heart Unit and treated with respect and kindness I had an angiogram on the Monday and went home on Tuesday to recover I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone.

    The staff in A and E (Resus) were brilliant at looking after my mum. They thoroughly investigated the illness that she had been taken in for and also looked at other issues. They were very kind
