Had to have a colonoscopy at Pembury. Not an especially pleasant procedure, but with the aid of the very efficient, friendly staff it was a breeze. Seen on time, assessed and everything explained. Very personable doctor doing the procedure helped to relax me. The actual procedure was a tad uncomfortable, but the sedative helped a great deal. The results of the procedure are fully explained at the end to make it less worrisome.The department is very clean, light and airy and there is an overall air of efficiency. I cannot recommend or thank the staff and Pembury hospital enough....Many Thanks Tony C

Just got home after spending 8 nights in hospital, due to an abscess. This is a very nice modern hospital and it was great to have my own room for four nights, which I believe is something available to most inpatients. It aided a lot in my recovery to be somewhere quiet and peaceful. All the staff were great and I really appreciated their kind care. It really made me appreciate how every role plays an important part in patients recovery and how lucky we are to be supported by hardworking staff members from such a wide range of countries.

Further follow up ct/mri appt has to be yet arranged- advised 8/9 weeks wait, but is now 16 weeks from last appt I have left three messages on the secretary's answerphone, over the last 2/3 weeks- asking for a status of where I am in the system and could I have a call back. The silence is deafening!! Scanner depts at Maidstone and Pembury, and General Appointments depts have confirmed I have no further appointments arranged. Am I to leave answerphone messages each day -until I receive an answer?

From the moment i walked into A&E it was amazing everyone was helpful and happy. Staff were busy doing there thing, people were cleaning chairs and porters were doing there thing. Once through i was dealt with by one extremely knowledgeable and competent doctor and was then left with the most amazing nurse ever, bloods taken with minimal effort and so friendly. Off for a CT Scan and a little wait for results but then loads of reassurance from the amazing doctor. All good and cost less than a beer. Thank you Pembury hospital you are all amazing.

the trreatment and assessment has been adequate, however the fit note i received was not signed nor did it show the occupation of the practitioner. Because of this i have not received benefits claimed for, hence i have no money to attend my appointment on the 24/04 /24 at tunbridge wells hospital. I spoke on the phone to a receptionist at the orthopaedic department yesterday whom on my behalf said they'd chase up the Doctor to sign a fit note that he had issued to me so i can send it to the relevant department/s. this is a schoolboy era and has left me without money to travel ,pay phone bill etc. ps. i would have prefered to call to get immediate clarification but i have no credit to do so. sincerely disgruntled.

I had an Ultrasound guided injection 24/1/23 with a very pleasant and reassuring doctor. My condition has improved dramatically and I wanted to thank him, as I am feeling 100% better after years and years of chronic pain ( from calcific tendinitis). Not being able to sleep well was killing me and I am a new person. Thank you so so much!!

I have visited the childrens emergency department 3 times in the last two months and each time my daughter has recieved very kind caring treatment from all the staff, they've had a caring, happy manor and explained what was going on even though they were extremely busy and rushed off their feet with an enormous work load. All staff on the ward have been very helpful, informative, kind and caring. They have treated my daughter respectfully, explaining everything directly to her. The room was clean, it was great to have use of a bed and be able to stay with her. We have now had two unplanned stays in the last two months and I'm very grateful for care and treatment given. my brother was admitted in january very poorly and unfortunately died on tuesday 17th january.i would just like to say how wonderful the doctors and staff were on the ward ,he praised the hospital for the good food ,lovely nurses and pleased that he had a tv in his single room.they made his last week as comfortable as they could.i would also like to give the hospital in general a A star for the cleanliness,no clutter in the corridors ,also how quiet and calm the hospital appeared to be.i have attended many hospitals as i was a nurse for 46 years with the NHS and retired last year ,and i can honestly say your hospital comes out on top.well done . P.S i would also like to say thanks to the ambulance crew who brought him in for their kindness caring attitude .keep up the good work
