Over the last few months, I have attended Watford Hospital for a problem that was diagnosed as being quite serious. I received very good care and attention as a referred outpatient very quickly - virtually an immediate emergency - so full marks for that alone. My treatment involved several departments, I found all the staff keen to help, attentive and skilled in their various tasks. I hope that I will be allowed to single out my extended care at the Dermatology Dept who deserve the highest praise - very impressed by my Doctor who was admirably supported at every level. Their concern was tangible - I'm so glad my body was able to respond! A great many thanks to all. I only wish that I could leave personal praise but have read your T's & C's.

Paramedics came to my mother in Bushey on Tuesday morning, response was there within 5 mins (they were there before me as I was working in Stanmore, brilliant care and attention. The paramedics were exceptional and after examination they took her to cardiology (no blue lights!), the paramedics stayed with mum until doctors came, care and attention brilliant, she stayed overnight then had pacemaker fitted on the Wednesday and home the same day. I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful work and attention you gave to her under the pressure that you are having. The following day she had a call from Herts Care asking how she was and if she needed anything. Keep up the good work you are all brilliant. She is thankfully doing fine and feeling so much better. Thank you Watford General Hospital :)

I have come here for my 12 months old baby for high fever (40°C). I have been waiting here for more than 9 hours. I came at 9:30 pm it's almost next day early morning 6:30. Thinking to walk out and sort it by ourselves

45 minutes after my stated appointment time in the Cardiac Centre I asked the receptionist just how late the system was running. She then informed me that the doctor who should have been seeing me had been called away on an emergency and obviously wasn't there. It did not seem to have occurred to anyone to inform the patients in the waiting room of this fact!!! Apart from uselessly spending £5-00 in the hospital car park I had totally wasted a large part of the afternoon.

I was admitted to Watford General 30th of July everybody from the paramedic tech crew to all the doctors Nurses and surgeons were brilliant they really looked after me during my hour of need everything was explained and couldn’t have done anything better My surgery procedure which was my first was brilliant and again thank you for giving up your time to do that for me

to see a doctor you have to wait over two hours. it’s extremely stressful and unnecessary. all i need is for the doctor to make an appointment with a consultant but it takes almost 3 hours just to see them.
