Appointment @ physio was fine. Receptionist very nice & grateful for my patience as she was speaking to a patient on the phone. Also the physio was patient as I updated him.

Have recently been receiving guidance/treatment from the Occupational Therapy/Physio department at Penzance. The staff there are so friendly and supportive; I cannot speak highly enough about the level of care and attention given.

Took my daughter to urgent care after an out of hours drs referred us there for an ear infection. We arrived early (8.15am) and we were booked in promptly and seen quickly and efficiently by the nurse. Fantastic care, quick diagnosis and giving of medication. My daughter even got a teddy bear at the end! A credit to the NHS

I had a routine eye test in 2022 - my eyes were good and then about 1 month later I awoke to see circles in my vision with a red edge. I was frightened as I didn't know what this was. I made a urgent appt with my opticians, who after checking my eyes again said you have age-related muscular degeneration, we will get you an appt with the hospital asap. And sure enough I had an appt very quickly. The consultant looked at my eyes and said I have one dry eye and one wet eye and he could do something for the wet eye. He explained what would happen and I was shocked that I would be having an injection in my eye!!! But I needed not to have worried as I was treated at West Cornwall Hospital, who were all amazing from start to finish. They make everyone relax and if I have to always have these injections, it won't be upsetting to me Thank you so much.

I had surgery at West Cornwall Hospital this week. From the moment I arrived, staff were helpful and kind. Everything was highly organised and everywhere was spotlessly clean. All the staff on the surgical ward were brilliant, taking time to talk, answer questions and help me feel relaxed. The information about my operation was clearly communicated; I felt listened to and as if nothing was too much trouble for the dedicated team, thank you. I definitely recommend West Cornwall Hospital for day surgery!

Very friendly and relaxed. Thorough examination and careful, informative explanation. Treatment, follow-up appointment and referral. Cannot ask for more. Second experience with NHS in the past two months and can only thank and praise the staff I have seen.

Attended the UTC yesterday (Easter Sunday). The whole team were very caring and compassionate, and professional for which I thank them sincerely. I have been sent a text survey which I was unable to complete and send because it said I had not completed question 17 (about being discharged) and that question was not in the survey.

The staff who looked after my son, who has learning disabilities were brilliant. Manager, Nurses, technicians, anaesthetist, surgeon, all came to introduce themselves and tell him what they'd be doing. They were without exception kind, patient, reassuring and caring. They always talked directly to him, even though they knew I'd often need to answer for him. They asked what he liked to be called and if it was OK to carry out various tests and procedures, and explained what they were doing in ways he could understand. We felt included and consulted in everything that happened, always opportunities to ask questions, and frequent checks that he was feeling ok about everything. He had the chance to visit before his dental operation and to be shown where he'd be and what happens there, which was so reassuring ( he even got to choose which bed!) Exemplary practice, this is how everyone's hospital experience should be. Thankyou everyone, you made it a happy experience for him, and for me too.
