I visited A& eon December 28th at 5pm with what I know now was a fractured foot I was seen and treated by triage within hour sent for X-ray within an hour and up in ward f3 ten pm . Had operation next day and discharged with all medication needed on 30th December the care I received was lovely and kind from start to finish the nurses and caters were lovely as was my doctor .. Thankyou

I brought my mother to her consultant appointment at mid-day and the appointment took place just over 2 hours after the scheduled time. No update was given to us by any staff member, there was no concern for my mother's wellbeing even though she was part-way through chemotherapy or any thoughts that we were waiting through the whole lunchtime period. Staff can do better than this with just a little compassion and thoughtfulness.

I was referred to the Gp treatment area through 111. This is in the A&E area at West Suffolk Hospital. The ED sister I met was excellent and realising my problem directed me to the right area . It was very busy in the A&E waiting area, but she was very calm and professional. I was very lucky to get seen almost immediately and cannot fault the care and attention and kindness given to me. I needed to visit cardiology recently as a new patient for some tests. All the staff I met were so friendly, introduced themselves and carefully explained what they needed to do. It made an anxious time for me so much easier, thank you.

Complete lack of communication with each other and us. Have let my child down and sent us home with them in pain. Got us ready for an overnight stay then sent home with no clear explanation and k had to ask questions although still not clear on what next

Stayed one night after surgery. Cannot fault a thing. All nurses, doctors, consultant, anesthetist were so friendly and accommodating.

I was on holiday in Suffolk from Scotland and needed to go to Accident and Emergency. The lady on reception was amazing - calm, kind and professional. She realised that the Scottish and English digital systems don't talk to each other so she made sure I had a print out of the ambulance and registration notes. I was seen very quickly by everyone and felt very well looked after. I was given a letter by the doctor to take to my doctor so that my care could continue properly in Scotland after I got home. Outstanding service. Thank you for making something that could have been traumatic very easy.
