Was taken in 29th. All the staff were most kind. My case was diagnosed as possibly serious. Despatched by ambulance to Barrow very quickly. Really appreciate the care I was given.

As a regular patient at Kendal for dialysis, I have gotten to know quite a few members of the staff at Kendal. I would like to point out the really great staff at the general office, they are always very pleasant and extremely helpful, even down to the traffic officer. I can't thank them all enough for all the help they have given me over the years even more so recently with my health getting worse. Nothing is to much trouble for them. They deserve the recognition, every single person in that front office are a credit to your hospital. Thank you so much...

Went to the unit today concerned by a sharp shoulder pain that went into arm. After registration, I was called through within five minutes. Tests, including ECG , X-ray and bloods, were swift and thorough, the nurses were kind and helpful, the doctor forensic in his analysis and we left reassured by his diagnosis. In short, a good experience.

My husband sliced open his thumb today ... We drove to the UTC + he was seen very quickly + care from Doctor was great (friendly + efficient). The woman on reception was so friendly + helpful ... Watched her interacting with people + she was professional + kind (a great combination). At one point an older guy came in (he had been in a different department). He said his mobile phone had run out of charge ... She loaned him her charger to enable him to contact someone. This centre is everything the NHS should be ... Keep up the great work.

Westmorland urgent treatment centre is an amazing walk in centre ,I was on holiday in the area and decided to go for a bit of a walk over a stile and along a bridle way with a slight incline I missed my footing and went over on my ankle there was a crack …luckily my husband was there and drove me to the centre , the treatment I received there today 29/7/23 was exemplary, from the moment I arrived until leaving just over an hour later , I had an X-ray where it was discovered I had fractured my ankle ,I left with a fracture boot and some crutches , all staff were very professional , caring with a fantastic bedside manner putting me very much at ease, they explained everything very well , down to how to put the fracture boot on and use the crutches properly only being allowed to leave when I had mastered the crutches .. all staff are 100% a total credit to the NHS … I cannot praise them highly enough , unfortunately we have had to abandon our holiday and are now safely back home in Warwickshire

Staff were polite and understanding in a very stressful situation. Treatment was well explained and carried out. Thank you all for your kindness and expertise. You are a credit to the NHS. I shall be singing your praises in Scotland.

Had an appointment sent through several txt reminders rang up numerous of occasions say the appointment is not needed unable to get through. Can not sit on phone all day in a queue surly an email address or being able to reply to txt would save money and free up appointments that are needed

Stayed on holiday in a nearby village, needed a routine procedure carried out for 3 days out of the week. All staff were welcoming, friendly and caring at every visit. Appointments were made to fit around my holiday.

I had to pop into the UTC due to swelling and stiffness in my right knee. I have a history of blood clots and vasculitis so can't take any chances with these sort of symptoms. I was seen initially within minutes on what was a very busy Friday morning. I was then seen by a doctor within 3 hrs for blood tests and a scan. I was very happy with the friendly and helpful service. I had to go to work and was able to leave and get feedback on the phone later on. Very happy.
