Had my second cataract removed on 28/1/23 and just like the first one,the staff were amazing. Kind and caring. Just want to say a big thank you so much to the surgeon I had each time and the staff,so grateful to you all.

I went to Weston A & E after paramedics found an irregularity in my heartbeat on an ECG. I went on Sunday 1 January at around 9.30pm and left on Monday 2 January at around 1.30pm. Throughout my 16 hours there, myself and my daughter were treated exceptionally well. The staff were lovely, and looked after me well, and I cannot thank them enough for all they did for me, when they were so busy. They took time to talk to me- explaining exactly what was happening and why, and also sat down to just chat to me a couple of times, thank you so much.

Went in after being advised by Clevedon Hospital with a suspected stroke was cared for from the minute I went in with great compassion

In the week between Christmas and New Year we fully expected to have a long wait for assessment and treatment of my husband’s acute back pain. However, within three hours we had been seen, treated, reviewed and we’re on our way home. Every single member of staff in the department were caring, sympathetic and helpful. Thank you so much to you all.

My Husband had a dreadful experience in his 10 day stay. I had to persevere to get any information despite having Power of Attorney. Next to no rehabilitation and discharge arrangements for physio and care assessment totally wrong. I agreed to his discharge based on incorrect administration. Ward was miserable with a very cold bathroom and a floor usually like a paddling pool as the shower drain did not work very well. The nursing assistants and the cleaners, catering staff were excellent, the nurses seemed to spend all their time doing paperwork. Doctors helpful once you found one. Uphill Ward is a very miserable dingy place and a few garish stickers and half dead pot plants do not help. Nil Points

I attended a few days ago for a trapeziectomy operation (so am typing this one handed!) I can't praise all the staff highly enough, they were all brilliant - reassuring, kind, friendly, knowledgeable........ The service was very well organised and seamless - I've already received my physio appointment! Thank you so much to all involved in my treatment and care, you made the whole experience a positive one.

I was admitted for a day surgery and I cannot fault the staff who looked after me. Caring, attentive, humorous and empathetic. From the care and nursing staff to the surgical team I felt safe throughout and they helped to relieve my pre surgery nerves massively. I’m a nurse myself, so understand the challenges NHS staff are facing and I honestly can’t give this team enough praise. Thank you.

I have just had my operation at outpatient surgery cancelled for 4th time with 24 hours notice. Every time means cancelled lifts, care at home, rescheduled clients and stress for family. I was offered a weeks time but was told it was unlikely to go ahead. There is no offered alternative such as another hospital and scripted apologies which appear to mean little. It is dreadful to put patients through this once, but 4 times is cruel

Recommended to attend A&E by my GP Triaged very promptly, had tests and x-ray and got results quickly All staff very nice and reassuring
