I was admitted via ambulance after falling and experiencing a siezure-like event. There was no waiting time, the nurse took bloods and hooked me up to monitor my vitals. The ambulance crew were lovely, they made me a cup of tea when we got to the hospital...The doctor was attentive and thorough, the nurse and other staff were kind and highly competent. All appropriate tests were administered in a timely manner, came back as normal, and I was discharged. I felt well cared for.

Attended endocrinology outpatients. Obs done, consultant seen and bloods taken and left hospital before the actual time of my appointment!

I was admitted for a Total Knee Replacement on June 27th to the Knightstone Ward. I was made to feel relaxed from the moment I checked in. The anaesthetist talked through the prep and once I changed led to me through to the awaiting room. Then into theatre for the op itself. I was taken to Knightstone ward for my recovery period. Throughout the whole procedure I felt safe, reassured and happy to be in trusted hands. Two days following I was able to come home. I am so thankful to the whole team for the outstanding, friendly, selfless and totally professional input that each member showed towards me. Nothing was too much trouble. They are all stars in my eyes and definitely don't get the credit they all deserve. I would happily recommend this hospital and especially the ortho dept to anyone awaiting surgery. I give them a 5* rating but they deserve a lot more. You are all amazing people and the biggest heart felt thankyou from me to each and every one of you.

I had a hernia opperation 18th April the surgeons and team was very reassuring and made me feel comfortable and relaxed before surgery. The staff after the surgery was very busy but still found the time to ask if I was OK and comfortable I think they do a fantastic job highly recommend this hospital.

On holiday in the area and tripped, peeling skin from my elbow, I blame my boot laces. Went to have it checked at Weston A&E and was seen and treated very quickly and efficiently. A nice change from my local hospital where I shave experienced waiting several hours.

From start to finish two and half hours, during which time numerous and thorough tests were done. All staff very professional and caring. Many thanks for all your help. Would recommend to anyone.

I attended this department on Friday 24 March for an operation to mend my broken wrist. I was terrified when I arrived but was soon put at ease by the kind, caring, professionalism from every member of staff I came into contact with. I felt that I was listened to as an individual which was so reassuring. The staff on this unit, theatre staff and recovery room staff all deserve a special mention. Thank you each and every one of you- I couldn’t have been treated any better if I had paid privately (which I couldn’t afford to do anyway!). I certainly wouldn’t be terrified of attending in the future.

From start to finish, staff were very attentive and kind. I was extremely nervous but everyone was reassuring. The consultant explained the procedure and its limitations. Thank you.

I was in Steepholm and Sandford ward and cannot speak highly enough of the staff. They were lovely. I was in for 7 days for investigation and tests. A very efficient and friendly place
