    Having accompanied a colleague with severe chest and lung pain to the A&E last Friday morning, Id like to compliment the staff at Wexham Park A&E from the reception desk, through the amazing nursing team and all the doctors, including the gent serving tea. My colleague was taken through within 5 minutes of arrival, and its obvious as we sat in the corridor, amongst trollies of patients that the nursing staff are dealing compassionately and efficiently in very difficult circumstances and with a lack of space and cubicles. Despite a short time in the corridor, the treatment of my colleague, from the time he arrived to the time he departed later that day, he was treated with professionalism and care. He was after a while taken into a cubicle in Purple suite and made to feel comfortable. Grateful thanks to the entire team on the day shift last Friday

    I slit my hand open very badly, I was seen by a young egyptian Plastic Surgeon, he was amazing, very professional, caring, kind and most of all maticulous when treating me, which made an enormous difference, on my follow up appointment as the work he did on my hand saved the skin, avoiding having to loose the skin and go through surgery. I am very grateful for the care I received. Also on my follow up appointment a lovely man and women plastic surgeon were amazing and very helpful being gentle and giving me clear care instructions and information. Thank you kindly to all 3 for their dedication care and attention, I am forever grateful. Kind Regards Jatinder

    Despite a large number of people waitin in A & E I was triaged within 45 minutes of arrival. I was moved to a trolley in a corridor and later to acubicle. My night there was far from pleasant but the care given by the staff was amazing considering the huge workload they had. The next night I was moved to a bed in AAU and the following night to a bed in the short stay medical ward where I spent 6 days. Once aagain, the care I received from the nursies and doctors was exemplary. The ward was amazing and far better than any other ward I have ever been on. Congratulations to all concerned.

    My daughter aged 19 was treated for serious tonsillitis. Everybody at Wexham Park Hospital that we encountered was kind and professional. My daughter was cared for by experts in their field. We are extremely grateful to all concerned. Thank you.

    After receiving a letter the day before my appointment which I had waited a year for I tried to get in contact to change my appointment. I spent over 2 hours on hold with them saying lines are busy before giving up. Tried again at 8.30am this morning when they were supposed to open and 20 minutes later still getting our lines are busy and please hold! This is ridiculous when the nhs is leaking money and I’ve had to waste an appointment, I just hope they will issue another appointment and contact me not just write of off as don’t want to wait another year for an appointment!!

    It is virtually impossible to telephone the hospital about appointments. I received a letter changing my hospital appointment and wanted to check that I didn't have a second appointment. I hung on for nearly an hour and got no reply. It is high time they completed a change so that appointments can be checked or cancelled on line.

    Nobody does Emergency Help like our NHS. When you are alone. afraid and injured -from the brilliant volunteer paramedic and the lovely ambulance boys who passed me to The Team in A&E and then to emergency Ortho surgery and Recovery Ward I will be forever grateful. As a retired accountant I do understand about making the books balance but when we need these people we really realise their true worth. Thank You x

    To the most wonderful people who helped my daughter when she crushed her finger. The plastics team were brilliant from start to finish. They explained everything so clearly in such a calming and caring way. You made my daughter feel special in a truly distressing time. The nurses before and after were also very kind. We will always be eternally grateful to you all x

    In the night of 12th January I came to A&E for my thumb. The nurse acted professionally and diligently to treat the wound, and helpfully arranged X-ray examinations, and he also called doctors from Plastic Surgery. The doctor came promptly and had performed the operations in about an hour professionally and very carefully. His attention to detail is impeccable. Their professional skills and great work attitude are outstanding. Thanks you all, greatly appreciated.
