Thank you to the staff on critical care following my hip replacement. I was very high risk due to a heart condition and for 48 hours they monitored, reassured me and showed great care. They were extremely professional and dedicated to my recovery.

I have a knee replacement operation and the care that I got from the nurses afterwards was five star. I could not have been look after any better all of them were great reassured me and look after me well. I were all happy which gives you encouragement to recover also the patients I was with were all so happy say how good a nurses were too. Food was excellent in excellent choice menu of food . People who serve the food cheerful resource out in good spirits with cheerful and happy always . The room was lovely and clean and clean thoroughly by the cleaners they also had a chat and keep up our spirits up also we all appreciate it what they done for us by talking to . I will recommend this hospital to anybody thanks everybody who took the time I'm looking after me and also talking to me I know I will be back in sometime soon for another operation on my other knee I have no worries this time about goning in there whatsoever. Thanks you all

Came in July intubated on intensive care. Drs and nurses kept my family update.. fantastic care.. after 5 days stepped down to a ward where icu nurses came down for 3 days.. stayed in hospital 4 weeks and returned home tyvm...

I had a week stay between Amu and ward 2a and I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of the wonderful staff who I saw and spoke to during my time there. Everyone was friendly, helpful, supportive and professional. I’ve never had such a long stay as an inpatient before but I am glad I was in Whiston because the standard of care was exceptional. I found the meals were tasty, and such a variety to choose from. Everywhere was clean and tidy and it’s a bright and airy hospital. Honestly from the tea lady, to the porters, to the carers and nurses to the consultants - all were friendly and respectful and their efforts made my recovery all the more quick. I have such a deep appreciation for the NHS and in my eyes you are all heroes.
