  2. Review titled Shocking

Rated 1 star out of 5

75 year old woman with a head injury, wasn't even looked at by a single person. We went to a minor injuries unit in Herne bay and they suggested getting a scan/a&e we informed the nurse we we arrived at the a&e and were then moved back and forth from a&e/minor injuries with a&e doctor refusing to see her and minor injuries leaving her waiting and moving her to the back of the waiting list, having already waited 5/6hours and messed around was then moved back to a&e and told to wait another 5 hours. Then tried to blame her for giving mixed messages and being unsure with her answers...after a head injury..

  3. Review titled Disgusting treatment

Rated 1 star out of 5

Refered from Biddenden hospital with chest pain .had several operations for heart and stents fitted then reopened. Was not talked to by anyone and left till last ,all others discharged after having tea and sandwiches? After surgeon had dinner I was taken in without a word being spoken. 10 minutes later and surgeon and assistant walked out side waving arm's about and shouting that doctor who referred me was stupid and knows nothing. Still no one talking to me? Then told I can go home without any information at all . Surgeon should leave if don't like job. Disgusting behaviour for a person.

  4. Review titled Too Many staff don't have a clue

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 August 2022

Attended for an appointment. Went to reception and asked for directions and was sent to Channel day at the other end of the hospital. So i preceded to channel day and Spoke to a member of staff there and was asked to sit down. After 25 minutes waiting ( there was nobody else waiting) I enquired again at day reception and spoke to a different person who told me I was in the wrong place and she had no idea where I was meant to be other than 'down the road' she seemed irritated that I was not happy at having my time wasted by her colleagues. Apparently this was my fault. So I walked WHH grounds until I found a possible clue as to where I was meant to be going...... As a result I was late for my appointment (I was initially 20 mins early...). I'd like to thank the main building reception and channel staff for wasting my time as they were extremely efficient at this.

  5. Review titled Medical history discussed in front of everyone

by Concerned for thr future - Posted on 19 August 2022

I went to the hospital by ambulance because my bowel was blocked, although this wasn’t confirmed straight away as I had a long wait for an ambulance, and another long wait in a queue to get into the hospital and then another long wait to be seen. What I am angry about is the acceptance that we have no privacy and all our medical history is discussed in front of everyone. And I was told loudly I had an eight hour wait to see a doctor !!!While waiting I felt really sick my wife said excuse me one of the nurses she was shouted down to wait - she continued to tell the nurse that I was about to be sick, but the nurse said you will have to wait I’m busy in a very abrupt manner. My wife said to me you will have to be sick on the floor and so I was. After I was sick - I won’t go into detail - they realised the urgency of my condition and I had to have a tube put down my throat there in the corridor with everyone listening to all the gory noises- I was asked about bowel movements. And had to explain with an audience that I have a stoma. Not ashamed but why should I have to?? I never thought this day would come - what about patients confidentiality, or worse what might happen to people waiting for an ambulance or in a corridor. I really don’t think A&E could get any worse, it appears to be at rock bottom.
