  1. Review titled Outstanding volunteers, clinic reception and peadiatricion

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Louise Hunt - Posted on 04 September 2024

From the moment we entered, we were greeted by volunteers who guided us in the right direction. We were greeted warmly by the clinic reception staff and also by the nurse, all before the paediatricion entered the waiting room, shook my sons hand and made warm introductions. There was no sense of urgency, just kindness, patience and such positivity. Hats off to the best paediatricion we have ever met - the female doctor makes such a difference.

  2. Review titled Disabled Parking

I attended an appointment today to find you have removed the disabled parking except three spaces from the Rheumatology dept. Shame on you! Do you expect disabled people to walk from the main car park? Staff told me it is an NHS decision to do this. It’s disgraceful.

  3. Review titled Caring staff

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 March 2024

I had an appointment at the pelvic pain clinic in the clover suite yesterday. I found it difficult sitting in the waiting room as I was feeling nauseous and had sharp pains but I didn’t want to disturb the staff. I was worried that I would vomit though so I asked for a sick bag. The receptionist took this seriously and asked a nurse to quickly give me a sick box. They then let me go into the appointment room to lie down. This was good as my appointment was about an hour late (I understand that there may have been emergency cases before me) so I was thankful I didn’t need to sit that long while feeling unwell and they told me to let them know if I need anything. They also took my blood pressure and checked my pulse and got me to do a urine sample during my waiting time. While I was walking to the toilet, I got in more pain and one of the nurses comforted me. I was very surprised as I get nervous that people might not like me because of my race and religion but it felt nice that the staff still seemed to be caring towards me. The appointment went really well. I felt like they listened to all my symptoms and were empathetic during this. They arranged further tests and prescribed me a medication to try in the meantime. I felt the appointment was productive.

  4. Review titled Not found my healt problem, Covid-19

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by Henriett B. F. - Posted on 04 February 2024

My GP sent me to Worcester Royal Hospital on Thursday morning with loss of consciousness, shortness of breath, chest pain, back pain, severe cough, numbness in both arms and high blood pressure. After a whole day of examination, after a blood test and a urine test, they declared that all my tests had been completed, and they found nothing wrong with me. They told me to go home. A doctor also said this. The important information here is that all my results were ready at that time and I was sent home that way. In the night time, I was worse, I couldn't breathe, my husband noticed that I couldn't smell any smells, so he took a Covid-19 test, which was immediately positive. As it turned out, the whole family is sick. I wrote an unfavorable review of the hospital, in which I described that I was positive for Covid-19, and they did not notice it and did not investigate it properly. Then, after a few hours, on Friday evening at 8:30, I received a call from the hospital to say that the results of a urine test had come back during the day, showing a urinary tract infection, and that I should go in immediately for an antibiotic prescription. They said the day before that all test results were ready. There is a contradiction in the statement. Then my husband told the lady on the phone that I had a Covid-19 infection, and how they couldn't figure it out, and how they could send me home with insufficient breathing and loss of consciousness, and the lady hung up on that. My husband tried to call me back but they didn't pick up the call. The doctor who sent me home was superficial. You must have known from the nurse that my husband is trying to translate for me and that he has a brain injury due to an accident. When he entered the examiner's door, he asked my husband, "Are you the Englishman?" But as it turned out afterwards, all the information was not true what give me. Because if they didn't find any problem, how can I be Covid-19 positive, and 5 people I met on Thursday have already proven to have caught it from me.

  5. Review titled Thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Had to bring my son in today and hospitals are really stressful places for him due to an invisible disability that he has, but staff were all, without fail, kind and willing to make accommodations for him. Really grateful, it would have been really stressful for us both otherwise.

  6. Review titled Great Staff and A&E

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 January 2024

I visited Worcestershire royal hospital on Wednesday 17th January 2024, I am petrified of hospitals and The reception team was so welcoming, moments Later, I was called into a Treatment Bay and met a Children's Nurse, and She did all my Sats and etc (Couldn't get my blood pressure) as I was so Anxious. She Calmed me down and tried 3 times, She was very caring, also A Normal Adult Nurse, Which didn't matter, They said there was nothing to worry about, No Ambulance Patients go to Children's Treatment Bays and I was relived, I waited about 3.5 hours for an ENT Doctor and She said nothing to worry about, and she moved to Treatment Bay 1 and looked for the problem let me calm myself down and help me relax. My exact words were "I ain't being Admitted as I'm scared to death of Hospitals," She said "no problem," I would like to thank all the Staff in the Emergency Department and ENT Department on Wednesday for all the work and things they did for, When I came out I was not as scared as I first walked it Again I would like to Thank all the staff for the things they did for me. 8. Review titled Fantastic service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 December 2023

We visited A and E this morning after being sent from Kidderminster with our little boy. The service was outstanding, upon entry we were greeted with a smile, we then were seen by numerous nurses and doctors who again were all so lovely and kind and couldn’t do enough for you. They then brought my little boy a selection box whilst waiting to be cared for. How lovely and a special touch for a child to feel looked after. The area is completely fit for purpose and is patient and staff friendly. Very clean and lovely the children A and E is separate from adults to ensure the correct care/ service for those so little. Thank you!

I was admitted to the Head and Neck ward before Christmas under the care of the ENT team for several days of IV antibiotics. The care and consideration i was given by the team and in particular the nurses of the ward was second to none. Thank you

  10. Review titled Children's A&E and Paediatrics Ward

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 December 2023

Thank you so much to all the staff working in Children's A&E and on the Paediatrics Ward on the evening of Christmas Day and early hours of Boxing Day. We were sent there with our son who needed a few hours of investigations. All staff we met, including triage nurses, doctors, healthcare assistants, paediatric nurses were incredibly kind and helpful and were able to make our son feel at ease at what was a scary time for him. We were reminded frequently by one really friendly HCA in particular on A&E to ask if we needed anything. Follow on information when we left was clear and reassuring with a plan for what to do if we needed more help. The atmosphere in both Children's A&E and the Paeds ward was very well thought out and comforting. Thank you.
