Review titled Very Efficient and Friendly
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Angie Grayson - Posted on 27 November 2023
I went to the new A and E building , Minor Injuries, this morning. Very light and spacious. Staff in all areas were approachable and very clearly explained what my injury was. Sandwiches and hot drinks were brought on a couple of occasions. Very impressed.

My little boy (4yo) was sent to Riverbank by the GP, and as soon as we got to the hospital, the doctors team where incredibly attentive. They requested a lot of different blood tests straight away and the consultant was amazing! Noah is at home now recovering and we just want to say a massive thank you

Review titled Amazing staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Cassandra Eaves - Posted on 05 October 2023
I want to thank every member of staff in the unit. I’ve never met more caring, lovely and wonderful nurses, doctors and health care assistants in my life. They all made my very emotionally distressing and painful experience of a miscarriage so much easier and all managed to put a smile on my face. They are all a true credit to the NHS and Worcester hospital

I cannot praise the trauma orthopaedic department enough. They acted so promptly with my problem making me feel in such good hands. All the stall in this department were so kind and thoughtful and it was so good to be greeted with a smile. I thank you all from the receptionists to the medical team. The NHS at its very best.

Review titled Excellent treatment from the cardiac unit.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Robert Jolliffe - Posted on 08 October 2023
I had a major heart attack in the early hours of 27/9/23 . The prompt skilled treatment from the Catheter Lab and the care on the Cardiac Unit and Ward Alconbury 1 was excellent. Myself and my family are extremely grateful for all the care I received.

I know everyone is doing their utmost and it’s a busy time, but would just like to speak to someone about my upcoming appointment. Always get an answer phone and the. No response from that. Would be reassuring to know some information.

Review titled Incredible Care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Hannah - Posted on 22 May 2024
On the 7th of September 2023, I was taken to Worcester Royal after spontaneously going into labour. Due to personal issues I arrived to hospital and delivered my baby alone. Without the care of the Midwives & Student Midwives I would not have been able to do this. The support and love they offered, the safe and caring environment and the empathy shown created an atmosphere I will never forget. Shortly after birth I was transferred to the transitional care unit. I could not fault the staff in any way, without them I couldn’t be the mother I am today. They took the time to make me feel beyond comfortable and nothing was ever to much for them. Thankyou doesn’t even begin to be enough for the care, support and love I was shown in the days after birth. After 8 months this experience still sticks with me. I am so beyond grateful!

Review titled Fantastic medical care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Tracy Goodwin - Posted on 24 May 2024
My sister attended A&E in an ambulance. Although they were queueing outside, she was monitored, she took a turn for the worst. They took her resus. straight away. The care she received over the next 48 hours was amazing ,they tried everything to save her life. She had surgery, pints and pints of blood, ICU care. Unfortunately she passed away and never returned home. But the staff were kind, professional, communicated well & worked their socks off. It was a very destressing time and there must have been 20 plus staff involved in her care, for which we are very grateful.
