I had to have a medically managed miscarriage. I was devastated to find out the new. From the moment I found out there was no heartbeat to the moment I left the ward after treatment. I was treated with kindness and compassion. Nothing was any trouble and I understood every stage and step. It's been a long road as I fell pregnant though ivf. Which to me made this experience even harder and broke down the night I stayed in. Two nurses came to me to comfort me and help me threw a really dark night. The day staff nurses and doctors where all equally supportive. I would like to take this time to say thank you to each and everyone who helped me threw such a traumatic experience. I hope if there is a next time the circumstances will be better and I can thank them personally. You truly do an amazing job!

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS Choices website regarding your care within the Gynaecology Department within the Saint Mary’s Managed Clinical Services. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. The Trust has introduced a behavioural framework within which all members of the nursing and medical teams' practice, so it was reassuring to read that you found all the staff caring and supportive and that the team were able to support you throughout your traumatic experience for which I am very sorry for. I can assure you that we have passed on your feedback to Dr Rohna Kearney, Clinical Head of Division for Gynaecology, Ms Emily Hoyle, Divisional Director for Gynaecology and Ms Rachael Schollar, Head of Nursing who will be delighted to share your feedback with the staff. May I take this opportunity to wish you and your family well for the future Alison Haughton Chief Executive Officer.
