Following a back injury, I temporarily was unable to walk. Following approximately 12 x thirty minute physio sessions, I completely regained the use of my legs, and minimised the discomfort symptoms in my back. The sessions combined with the recommended exercises I was to do at home each day, I can only suspect lead to my recovery. My therapist at the Camberley branch seemed knowledgeable and sympathetic to my condition, and without her invaluable assistance, any recovery process may have proved a lot lengthier and unsuccessful. I attended for help with a shoulder and neck problem that was causing severe headaches. I had six appointments all with the same Physiotherapist except for the last appointment. The appointment was always on time, lasted about 30 mins and I was given the next one at the end of the session. The advice and treatment made a huge difference and its supported by an app to demonstrate the exercises and measure progress. The Physiotherapists were kind, knowledgeable and helpful. At the end of the 6 weeks my condition had improved and I am continuing with the advice and guidance to avoid the problem deteriorating again. I had a good experience and would recommend the service to others.

Would have been more advantage if I had been able to access the service sooner, however the exercises were very helpful. Overall I felt the sessions were very generalised and slightly hurried.

Though I was given useful exercises to do, they were communicated to me very poorly. Personal communication with the patient and not continually looking at a computer screen makes the patient feel interest is being taken in them.

I might as well looked up everything on the internet for the help I got I had two appointments before giving up and cancelling My appointments consisted of a chap tapping constantly on his laptop The first appointment I had to tell the chap that I’d had X-rays he just kept tapping away I didn’t feel valued I felt I was a nuisance I was given exercises to do which I had to record which I did every day but I wasn’t even asked how I got on with them The second chap just gave me different exercises I’ve been to physio before and it was much better than this experience

During your first appointment, your physiotherapist will have conducted a thorough initial assessment which needs to be recorded on your file, hence why they will have been typing on the computer. delighted with my experience really helpful when dealing with my severe arthritis of the knee.over a 12 month period with careful guidance I have managed to reduce the pain in my knee from excruciting to tolerable.
