Review titled Positive Experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Carmen D. - Posted on 18 November 2024
I've had a positive experience with Clinical Partners for the assessment of ADHD and ASD. The NHS Right to Choose process significantly reduced wait times, I waited about 1 year from referral to diagnosis. The doctors were both knowledgeable and compassionate, kind and caring. The customer service team has been helpful as well on the phone or via email. I would always recommend them to anyone seeking good quality services.

Review titled Unsatisfactory and unhelpful
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 September 2024
After taking all of my information at one appointment where I gave such personal information I was told the service had moved and when I said it was too far away they just said that was the only choice and then because I questionedit they sent me emails in bold and basically discharged me without me being the one to choose my treatment and have left me so confused and upset. I've now got no idea who is dealing with my treatment, I don't have a contact name and I don't know what happens with the first part of my assessment or all of my private information. When I write my email is blocked, but apparently that's not their fault despite the error code saying they have blocked my email.

Review titled A terrible experience
by Anonymous - Posted on 22 June 2024
A terrible experience My experience with clinical partners has been nothing short of appalling. The service is clearly not fit for purpose to support the people that they work with. I was referred for an autism assessment via RTC. On the morning of this assessment I woke up to a text message from the clinician scheduled to undertake this. The message came from an unknown mobile number. The clinician asked to rearrange the assessment with no explanation until I directly asked and they said it was due to technical issues. In the end this assessment went ahead over the phone around 30 minutes later than scheduled. This in itself was a poor experience, it would have been better for myself to be contacted through an official clinical partners number where I could speak to a representative and discuss my options. I was then scheduled to receive my outcome and feedback on 3rd June at 12:30pm. I was called at 12:45pm and asked if I was ok to go ahead. I confirmed that whilst not ideal I was able to proceed. The clinician then mumbled for a bit, announced 'I guess I'll just get straight to the point' and then continued to mumble 'just a minute' until finally stating that she couldn't open the document and asked if she could call back. I agreed to this and received a call back around 5 minutes later where she requested to call me at 12:30pm the following day instead. I never received a call to share my feedback the following day and as of writing this feedback on 21st June am still yet to do so. This lack of outcome is despite me calling clinical partners multiple times over the past 3 weeks asking for an update, emailing their complaints department and asking to speak to a supervisor who can give me clarity on how long I should expect to wait for an outcome which I was promised on Tuesday and am yet to receive today (Friday). This hold up is meaning that I am stalled in applying for any support I may be eligible to receive if I am diagnosed or following other pathways should this process not provide me with a clear answer. I received what can only be described as a holding email today stating that they are 'sorry' for not responding sooner and that they will be in touch to book my feedback appointment when they have managed to contact the clinician with no timescale whatsoever offered for this. This experience has left me with absolutely no confidence in this organisation and feeling completely abandoned by a company that is supposed to be offering support and has been anything but supportive. I note that in response to many of the less favourable reviews here clinical partners suggest that the reviewers contact their complaints email address. I have already done this and it has had no benefit to me at all. I remain, over 8 weeks after my assessment was completed, completely uninformed about the outcome and when I may get this. I most definitely would not recommend clinical partners to anyone.

Review titled Treated like a criminal
Rated 1 star out of 5

Clinical Partners agreed to have a consultation with my 5 year old daughter regarding a severe anxiety issue that came out of nowhere. This was a huge relief, despite their earliest appointment being 3 months away and by a Zoom call. So imagine my despair, when despite being an A.X.A. member, I was told that because my renewal date was in 3 months time, just after the consultation date they gave me, they could not see my daughter! It was their decision to make us wait that long in the first place! Surely, if they cannot see a private health care patient within 3 months then their services are effectively useless? They then cancelled the agreed consultation by email. I cannot express how much pain they have caused, and the extra anxiety they have dumped on my family. This is one of the worst experiences of mine and my family's lives. Awful customer care.

Review titled Awful Experience
by Dani Munn - Posted on 03 May 2024
At first I was very impressed with Clinical Partners and how efficient they were with arranging an appointment for my son’s assessment. At this point I would have highly recommend them to anyone. Now I would not at all! I have made 10+ phone calls, 3 which I waited over half an hour for staff to pick up and the line cut off! At first they would pick up and let me know they would get back to me soon with a follow up appointment and now I cannot get hold of them over email neither. I am at a loss. I am now concerned il never hear back regarding my son’s diagnosis and they have a lot of medical information on my son, which makes myself highly uncomfortable, considering they are acting highly unprofessional. I am at a point now where I will contact a well known newspaper for assistance on the matter.

Review titled Let down
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Katie - Posted on 08 May 2024
At first I would of recommended clinical partners to anyone my daughter was referred through our doctors in December and had an appointment in the February, on the first phone call I explained that my daughter was home educated and they said this wasn’t a problem but would find out what was to happen with regards to the teacher questionnaire. My daughter had her assessment no problem was told 3 week wait for diagnosis 11 weeks later we’re still waiting! no one answers the phone and if they do they say they will get back to you that never happens, they don’t reply to emails we have had nothing but problems regarding the teacher questionnaire no one knows what they are doing. This whole experience has been a complete nightmare and my daughter feels even more let down than ever and this has caused her to spiral even more so avoid at all costs

Review titled Not good
by Daniel - Posted on 02 May 2024
I’m currently going through the process and have been diagnosed with ADHD through NHS right to choose. My experience was ok in the early stages - the company were responsive & attentive when booking and completing the assessment. Since being diagnosed it has been terrible. The report I was sent had several errors and included information that was not discussed to make my condition sound worse that it may be; the report had to be reviewed and edited on a number of occasions following diagnosis. Now I’m wanting to start treatment and medication but clinical partners do not offer this through the right to choose. It is apparently now left to my GP who can not administer the treatment as they are not a qualified psychiatrist! All my GP can do is refer me for another ADHD assessment going through a different right to choose provider, many of which won’t take you on as you’re already diagnosed!! So my option is now to go through the full process again when the NHS and wait years to do so, or continue privately with clincal partners at extortionate prices - this system is so broke and seems like a money making exercise for clincal partners if anything. Absolutely shocking and distressing for those already going through a really challenging period mentally.

Dear Daniel, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. My name is Rae and I am Strategic Partnerships Manager for Clinical Partners. I’m truly sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve faced following your ADHD diagnosis and the frustrations with the report's accuracy. It’s concerning to hear that you felt the report misrepresented your condition and that you had to go through multiple revisions. We strive to ensure that our assessments and reports are accurate and reflective of our patients’ experiences and I appreciate how distressing it can be when important information is misrepresented. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It has always been our intent to offer ADHD medication alongside our assessment service, and we will be contacting patients to make them aware of how they can access medication in the coming weeks. We will be reaching out to patients in the order they were diagnosed, starting with those diagnosed when we first opened for the Right to Choose, so you will be contacted in due course. Additionally, we will be introducing a dedicated area of our website aimed at clarifying the process and providing valuable information for both patients and GPs. This resource will help ensure that everyone involved has a clear understanding of the steps and options available. If you have any further questions or if there’s anything I can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at rae@clinical-partners.co.uk. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. Warm regards, Rae Strategic Partnerships Manager

Although it was a bit pricey, I really recommend saving up for an assessment if you think you could have BPD. I was treated with so much understanding, kindness and care. There is nothing that the practice could’ve done better and I’m very thankful that I now know there’s a reason for all my strange actions.
