    After a long delay of about months waiting for a referral to an advanced physio I finally saw one yesterday. Very knowledgeable and helpful, I'm extremely grateful to her.

    All I can say I was made to feel what I was going through with my arthritis mattered. Not only was I given an injection to help as it's helped in the past, we planned a roadmap for my issues and a better outcome. My clinician was amazing and his due dilligence was outstanding. He certainly made me feel I mattered and I was just not another patient. Thank you

    Still waiting for exercises information despite three follow up phone calls. The physio. Said he would sent them to me that afternoon but still waiting. Not in spam box

    From initial contact it has been brilliant service from the Nottingham clinic. My contact there has been amazing. Within one week following my conversation I have had an MRI scan and have recieved my results today by phone to say that he was sending the results to the Woodthorpe Hospital in Nottingham. I am so grateful to everyone concerned as I have been suffering since last July and thanks to the intervention from Connect there is a light at the end of the tunnel and my knee is being replaced. I cannot tell you what a wonderful relief this is.

    Long talk and explanation on what I could have to treat my shoulder condition. Felt at ease. Given 2 steroid injections in shoulder. If no better in 6 weeks to ring him back. Reassuring. Following day I had a red rash on my face for 2 days running, and a headache for the same days. Rash almost gone, occasional headache but nothing to worry about. Shoulder seems to be feeling less painful but still bothers me at times although not as much as before because the pain then was almost constant. Getting to sleep quicker now instead of trying to find a comfortable position. I hope this treatment works for me, fingers crossed.

    Phoned as I had an arthritis flair up and needed some advice as to how to combat it. Having explained my problem to a very understanding lady, an appointment was arranged for me to see a doctor two days later. I attended the appointment and was given some medication in an attempt to alleviate the problem with the proviso for another appointment 6 weeks down the line to check on progress, if any. All in all a brilliant service with empathetic staff all round and, as such, I have no reservations about recommending this service based on my experiences.

    I was seen at the Nottingham MSK service. Whilst the initial consultation was less than useful (unable to diagnose my condition and unwilling to put me forward for a scan to help diagnose it!), I continued to follow through with the physio treatment prescribed for me. I attended physio every week at Chilwell Olympia where I received the best care and attention I’ve had throughout the whole process. The 2 members of staff couldn’t do enough for me…initially showing me what to do, regularly checking in each week on my progress and recommending different techniques or practices to push me as I got stronger. I know I still have a way to go to try and resolve whatever is wrong inside my knee but I can say that I’ve got a lot stronger over the last 2 months or so and have gained some useful knowledge going forward. I shall continue hopefully moving forward with all the good practices that the physios of this service have given me. Thank you.

    8.30am appointment at WGH physio department. Was seen by 8.33am The physio I saw was up to speed on my condition and had all my information, X-rays at hand. Good examination by physio and fully understood my condition. He offered really constructive advice on what could be done and what wouldn’t really be beneficial, helping me reach a decision on what was right for me. His attitude was professional and relaxed but more importantly he listened to my concerns. He showed me exercises I should do to give me as much movement as possible.

    The 6 week referral to the gym was excellent sam the instructor as very good he explained everything in great detail and helped me all the way, his explanation on my condition and what was needed was very helpful indeed.

    As a qualified medical worker I feel I am aware of the meaning of total care. The empathy, consideration shown by all I came into contact with was exemplary, both on the telephone and in person. I gained confidence in myself both physically and mentally which positively increases a persons recovery. Thank you to all of the staff in Darlington.
