My experience with South Tyneside Physio service was positive from start to finish. My problem had basically been dismissed by the local A&E dept. Fortunately the physio I saw in South Shields was very professional and thorough and I feel it was purely down to her that I was eventually diagnosed with a fracture. I have now received the correct treatment and I am well on the road to recovery. An excellent service. Sincere thanks.

An insightful, life changing experience… My adviser was superb throughout… I find myself on the right track to recovery at last having suffered with chronic pain for two years… I appreciate there is still significant work to be done but I have the directions to achieve my goals… Highly recommend…

I have been very impressed with the professional treatment received from all of the employees of connect health. I have been suffering from fluid on the right knee on and off for four years now which has prevented me from playing tennis. I had an initial assessment with a wolverhampton connect health physiotherapist in november 2024. He asked me if I would like to join a small group at one of the wv active gyms in the city for some physio led sessions which I accepted. I was very impressed with the physios there who directed me to use specific equipment to build up the strength in my knees. They took a genuine interest in my progress and recovery and encouraged me to work at the tasks they set me. To help with my progress I signed up to join the wv active set up in wolverhampton so that I could go to the gym and swimming pool more frequently. After my six sessions the condition of my knee has improved considerably and as well as using lots of the equipment I have also started running gently on grass following the encouragement of my physio who monitored my progress with care and genuine interest. I have been very impressed and grateful for the outstanding treatment received from connect health and have recommended it to friends and family. Many thanks again.

Very patient and helpful in analysing my problem and needs. Significant delays in getting results of MRI scan and further interruption to my physio programme caused by sudden unforeseen for unrelated urgent surgery. My only criticism relates to their online systems: I was emailed to submit a review of my care but, having spent some time trying to do so, the system told me I had no such review to either amend or submit.

Friendly & helpful front desk staff. I went for physiotherapy . A lovely friendly individual- the therapist .Listened to all my pain related issues with patience & prepared the excercise program with clear instructions It was a good experience altogether.

Slow start from receiving X-ray results ..few physio sessions with visits to a local hub which proved rather useless ..the exercises seem to make the pain much worse and the staff not very knowledgeable as thephysio i saw seemed very unsure what he was dealing with .. I didn’t feel reassured however he did refer me to a more senior physio ,at stapleford who soon sorted me out …arranged a very fast MRI and the results in just over a week . I am already feeling the benefits of the boot ..many thanks to the staff memeber , it is sad I had to endure many months of pain as I understand I had to go through the process before receiving an MRI which gets to the problem immediately…surely having that initially would have saved the NHS X-ray costs and staff wages seems a pointless expense

This is a self refer service and great that you don't need to go through your GP. Easy to get an appointment and prompt follow up. I was kept informed throughout. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff (this includes admin staff and health care professionals). Great service and many thanks for your help.

I attended Deer Park on a few occasions and also once at Hanborough House. The person I saw at Hanborough House was the only person who took on board that there was a problem with my hip, knee and foot. I have been trying to get this message across for over a year and my problem is no better. I have been doing the exercises and things are no better and some of them I cannot even do. The GP had said that I would get an x-ray to establish the problem. No appointment or letter arrived. So I have been in agony for over a year. Only the physio from Hanborough House took on board what I have been trying to tell everyone, there is a problem all the way down my left leg, not just the knee. I am very frustrated that no one will listen to what I am saying. Also making appointments with Connect Health is not easy. You phone up and appointments have gone and then you are told to phone back in a few days and eventually you get an appointment. This system really does need to be improved.
