    I had my second eye consultation last week. Both of my consultations were very satisfactory. The doctor was professional, knowledgeable and charming. He explained everything regarding my eye condition and I felt that I had a thorough examination. He remembered me from my appointment last year which I thought was very comforting. A very good doctor indeed.

    I have nothing good to say about my experience with HH. On the two occasions I visited there were young women in the room with the dermatologist who were not introduced and said and did nothing for the duration of the appointment. I was there for my skin and the dermatologist never looked at or examined me. The dermatologist spoke at me and didn’t listen to anything I had to say. My information about me, the patient and the person being treated was not valid or important to HH. The entire experience was very robotic and frankly annoying. There was absolutely no empathy shown by the dermatologist and I have never felt less cared about from a medical setting. I wish never to return to HH.

    I was given an Appointment that was way too far away, so I called them, then they gave me an Appointment in my same city for a week later. So I asked them to refer it back to the Hospital as I don't trust them, besides I prefer it at the hospital, rather than an independent company. Why send people to places miles away and in the middle of nowhere, when there's availability in our own city.

    Honestly the whole appointment seem really unprofessional, The room was messy & untidy! Had two nurses in with the doctor which is absolutely fine but they were talking & giggling amongst themselves which again is fine but for such an intimate area did make me feel uncomfortable, the curtain that went around was tiny lucky I don’t get embarrassed , When I first walked in I was approached with ‘what you booked in for’ in front of the whole waiting room I wasn’t even by the reception desk at this point still by front door again for such a private appointment this was very unprofessional, felt like I was waiting for a beauty appointment with my friend rather than waiting to see a gynaecologist!!!!!

    My appointment with Healthharmonie (Basford) was 9.00am I arrived at 8.57am waited and waited, the consultant I was to see arrived at 9.16am. Consultacy took no more 3 minutes & I was told that the cryogenics nurse who was to treat the skin lesion was not available so another appointment would have to be made for a date in 6 weeks time. This consultacy was a total waste of my time as my notes clearly show that my appointment was for a cryogenics treatment.

    Attended for a dermatology appointment regarding a lump close to my eye. After a 40 minute drive to the clinic, I spent about 6 minutes with the doctor. They examined the lump and then informed me briefly that I would need a biopsy probably followed by excision. I asked for more information as I am aware of the risks due to the proximity to my eye, and also that there is a wide range of possible treatments. My questions were bluntly dismissed and no written information was given to me. The next day I downloaded the letter sent to my GP (I did not receive a copy) in which the doctor wrote that they had discussed the clinical findings with me and mentioned the procedure in depth together with the potential scarring that may occur. This was completely untrue. I expressed my concerns to my GP and requested to be referred elsewhere. The only good thing about this appointment is that I was there for such a short time I didn't have to pay for parking.

    I waited over a year for my dermatologist appointment, which was meant to be to take a skin sample. When I arrived for my appointment, I was uncomfortable with the presence of several other individuals in the room, as I was not informed about their roles or reasons for being there. My doctor was blunt, rude, did not complete the sample, but instead recommended what I could only describe as an insulting solution. They recommended that if I wanted anything prescribed for my issue, I should go back to the doctors.

    Simply the worst service I have had in any industry let alone the medical industry. The rudest person I have met for a long long time was doing it. I wasn’t too nervous myself, but no way would he resolve any anxiety a patient has. The lady showing people in was very nice.

    Had the mirena coil fitted today by a female consultant to help with my HRT symptoms. Straight away she put me at ease,friendly yet highly professional,very easy to talk to,explained in detail what would happen making the whole experience almost painless . Assisted by a lovely nurse who was equally professional but so kind and put me at ease especially when it’s a very intimate procedure.

    One of a continued series of consultations I again experienced an appointment that was characterised by a consistent and high level of care and practice across the board. I was welcomed in a polite and friendly fashion and provided with a seat. The young lady that conducted my 'field test' was both polite and considerate whilst exhibiting a high level of friendly professionalism. My wait then to see the ophthalmologist was minimal even though the venue was very busy. The ophthalmologist conducting my appointment was friendly, again very polite and very professional. Care was taken to put me at ease, provide me with answers and ease any concerns I expressed. My condition and its progress was explained very clearly and future strategy was outlined very simply and matter of factly. I left feeling very reassured and confident that my 'case' was in competent and capable hands. Many thanks to all concerned.
