In February of this year I had surgery for a total knee replacement at Thornbury Hospital, Sheffield, via One Health. The care, expertise and skill of the Surgeon, and the nursing team, was nothing short of amazing. I can't thank them enough. Following the surgery, within 8 days, I was allocated several sessions of physiotherapy at The White House Clinic, Ravenfield, Rotherham. From the first session the expertise, patience, support and calm comforting words of the physiotherapist were invaluable to me and made such a difference to my recovery and mobility. As well as the amazing skills this physiotherapist is a genuinely nice person who cares very much about the patient and immediately put me at ease. Thank you seems inadequate and , in the not too distant future, I will be having my second knee replaced and, once again, I hope to have my physio sessions with this very talented physiotherapist and the surgical procedure carried out by the same amazingly talented surgeon. Knowing you are in excellent hands makes all the difference to the recovery process.

I had an operation in February, from my first appointment to leaving hospital it was the most excellent care. My consultant was the best and the staff were amazing. The care was 1st class.

I had a hip replacement in January 2024. Everything was just spot on. My Consultant was really pleasant and the result has been brilliant. Even the Anaesthetist was great and so reassuring in theatre, he even came to see me the next day as I had a general anaesthetic. The theatre staff were friendly and put me at ease. The nursing staff after were so kind. The one I had overnight was the loveliest lady. I felt she went the extra mile and I wont ever forget her care. The follow up physio was great and helped me make an amazing recovery. Im just so chuffed with it all.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first visited the One Health Group in Sheffield, the place was more like a hotel than a hospital. Staff were friendly and polite and the building was clean and free hot drinks from the vending machine was an added bonus. The care I received when it was my operation was what can only be described as excellent. I was processed in a timely manner and was discharged with all the information I needed before the end of the day. Plenty of parking spaces with no charge is an added bonus, and it was a shame in some ways my operation didn’t require a longer stay at the hospital. My check up 6 weeks later was a prompt affair and again I was treated very well by all members of staff I encounter. I would happily return to use the One Health Group again

Would recommend joining Our Future Health. The research and fact gathering must surely help us to live healthier and longer lives. I was greeted by a pleasant nurse who was friendly and efficient. Bloods, height, measurements and weight taken in a private area of Boots Chemist, Cortonwood. Research and collation of results will hopefully pave the way for future healthy longevity. The staff at Thornbury were professional,polite and explained everything what would happen which made me feel at ease. The aftercare was also excellent. I would rate the whole experience as 5 star.

Thankful to be referred by my GP (nhs) to One Health and the service and support has been amazing. Great people and my consultant is so lovely, he listens and explains everything clearly.

All went well with plenty of information and fantastic theatre staff. The only drawback was being last which meant a long day without food and even water, if you knew where you were in the queue at least a drink of water would be ok.
