    Tried for months to get appointment. None available in advance. Unable to provide parts for NHS hearing aids. I’ve been having problems for months. No one wants to know. I’ve phoned and emailed several times. When Hidden Hearing was looking after me under the NHS they were brilliant. I feel they want NHS funding without providing suitable care. I feel they don’t care. Trying to change provider.

    I was first visited by the opticians at outside clinic on 18/7/23 where I had my eyes tested, this experience was fine. However, when they returned with my glasses they had mixed the prescriptions up (during my eye test I was told I didn’t need distance glasses, just reading glasses - they sent me glasses with the distance prescription). I sent these glasses back to the lab to be re-made into the correct reading prescription (I had to pay extra for this - £70). It took several months before I got the correct glasses back, they were not returned until September 2023. Since then, one of the arms on the frame broke, so I rang them and they said to return them to the lab again. After waiting for 2 weeks they returned them unfixed, alleging that they couldn’t be fixed as they were not my original frames. Overall, I’ve paid £115 for some glasses that are completely unfit for purpose - total waste of money.

    The receptionists are great, but from there on the service goes down hill. You have to wait for ages for an appointment call and when it does come it gives you very short notice. Compared to the previous set up, this is far from adequate. The audiologist was impatient and rude.

    Waiting in with my elderly mother for the optician visit I tried calling them for updates but it took two hours of calling before someone answered me when I finally managed to speak to someone it was the most dreadful conversation you could imagine,I instantly cancelled the appointment because I had no faith in them turning up.please people if you value your parents eyesight keep well away from outside clinic

    I had an eye done with outsideclinic on 11/12/2023 but the representative couldn’t print a copy of prescription because there was a problem with printer he turned round and told me he will email the copy of prescription he took my email address and left i checked my email again and again but no email from outsideclinic i chased the company and formally complained to their practitioners but still no joy i am still waiting so stay I advise people to stay clear of outsideclinic

    Transferred to Outside clinic in September when previous NHS provider stopped trading. I was informed by letter from Outside Clinic that my details had been received and registered on their system. However in December I was advised after several calls to order tubes that they couldn't provide support for my hearing aids and I'd need a hearing test and new hearing aids. Now in January and they are still unable to give me a date for the hearing test. There only suggestion was to try to buy my tubes privately something I'm not in a position to do. At no point was there an apology or any real understanding of the difficulties I face without fully working hearing aids

    am still waiting for delivery of my glasses paid for months ago last tuesday appointment cancelled at last minuite still waiting for new appointment not good enough operater makes out she cannot hear and says call back some silly game of hers as soon as they get paid the service takes a dive

    After waiting all day with an elderly lady,just out of hospital, with no call from Outside Clinic to inform us of approximate time of visit , finally late afternoon we eventually had a call informing us they would not be able to make the appointment Disgusting service and very upsetting for the patient Absolutely unacceptable and extremely poor customer service

    My husband has used both the eye home visit and the hearing service. He now has excellent hearing aids supplied by a very experienced and pleasant man. I have already recommended your services to my neighbour.
