Rated 5 stars out of 5

My mum was with Css Care for 12 months she was happy with the care she received and said all the girls who went with her were lovely and kind. If I ever had any queries the office was always really helpful. Thankyou for making my mums final month's better.

  2. Review titled Can't fault

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Attended respiratory y.day. Husband attended endocrinology today. On both occasions it was a first class service. Punctual, organised. All the staff were helpful, cheerful, polite and professional. Well done to all staff.

Visited Comberton surgery today after a triage call and met with a doctor who was so so thorough and caring. Don't often go to GP but she was first rate.

  4. Review titled the sheldon practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by patient - Posted on 04 April 2024

title: review of service experience at the sheldon practice regrettably, my initial encounter with the sheldon practice as a new patient has been unsatisfactory. In late January, I experienced a stroke/tia episode, resulting in a collapse and the loss of both eyesight. following diagnosis and treatment, I was discharged from the hospital on february 8th, armed with prescribed medications and a need for ongoing medical care. however, complications arose when I received correspondence from my nhs gp indicating that I was being disassociated from their practice due to my changed living circumstances. This necessitated my transition to a new gp closer to my current address, prompting my application to the sheldon practice in late october. upon reaching out to the sheldon practice for an appointment, I was met with confusion and an apparent absence from their system. despite assuring the receptionist, ms. jainey, of my application and eligibility, I was directed to contact nhs 111 for further assistance. disappointingly, my call to nhs 111 only compounded the issue. the representative informed me that their service was limited to "assistance" rather than providing actual advice on gp matters. consequently, I find myself in a precarious situation, devoid of medical care despite my urgent need, as indicated by my medical records labeled "home ems." The glaring question remains: who will address my ongoing prescription needs and ensure timely reordering? The lack of resolution and clarity from both the Sheldon Practice and NHS 111 leaves me feeling vulnerable and neglected in terms of essential medical care. In conclusion, the lack of coordination and assistance from both the Sheldon Practice and NHS 111 has left me deeply concerned about my medical well-being. Urgent measures must be taken to rectify this situation and provide the necessary support and care that every patient deserves.

  5. Review titled No senior physicians in A&E prolongs waiting times

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 01 April 2024

At Heartlands A&E Saturday 30th March. Staff on duty there were so patient and kind. Waiting room was not even 1/4 full on arrival 2:30pm. Tests done within 3 hours. At 9ish after 4 hrs waiting for results we were told a senior physician needed to see results to decide what next. By 11:30 it was unbearable and we were told there was not a senior physician on duty in A&E so it had been 9 hours of waiting to be told they had no idea when one would be available from the main hospital. By then we had already witnessed a couple of really unpleasant incidents which needed security staff involvement and the waiting area was almost full so my 88 year old friend made the decision to go home for safety. She was phoned at 4am by the hospital but no message left. Judging by that we would have been in A&E until that time. Surely 1 senior member of staff could be situated in A&E to look at test/ blood results and support the overworked staff in there and to ensure people aren’t sitting there for hours unnecessarily.

  6. Review titled Queens Hospital Ocean ward B

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Cassidy Maponga - Posted on 03 September 2024

I was on whilst on ward recovering from surgery for repair of a perforated bowel. I pressed the buzzer at 01.30 am requesting for painkillers because I was a agony. An HCA answered the buzzer at 01:50 and said my nurse would be with me asap to assist me, When the nurse arrived I told her That's my intravenous fluids had also finished and being nil by mouth I was feeling dry my lips were dry, And adequate hydration promotes more healing. She came back 10 minutes later with a painkiller and as for the four wids I reminded her politely that my the machine is saying my fluids are finished to that she said I'm gonna let it run free flow and then come and change it when the fluid is finished. To me there was probably 50 millilitres left in the bag if that's at all because shortly after what was left in the bag had infused and air was now running down the infusion line. She she proceeded to assist the patient opposite me who she felt was a priority and that's fair enough. To my own common sense the priority would have been the patient for the nail by mouth bearing in mind that it takes less than five minutes to change an infusion back but in her clinical judgement I could wait another hour as I was not in need when in actual fact i had pressed the buzzer. Despite the pain that I felt which he obviously doesn't understand I had only pressed the buzzer once throughout the night which is again proof that I am not a demanding patient but that one time was too much for her to help me I tried to engage her in a conversation that effect as she was putting up the fluid and it's almost turned into an argument so I decided to keep quiet and she labelled me as being rude in my opinion I was treated with no dignity at all I do not wish any harm to come to that nurse I will not name her but I strongly believe that the nurse's attitude should improve especially patients are in pain post-operatively if I had a choice I could have been in my home where my family could look after me better but it's always because at the moment I'm depending on the services of the NHS which is a fantastic service i've had great treatment but it's just sad to say that the attitude that was portrayed left me as a patient feeling not treated with dignity

  7. Review titled Just Waste Of Time and Energy

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Nandeshwar - Posted on 28 February 2024

If we are severe sick today, then why we book blood appointment after 15 days and why we wait for unine report for more then 1 week and why only guidelines are there to delay the treatment, it should be on same day, why we are wasting our time and energy for appointments only, as we paid IhS fees and everytime on each prescription which is just antibiotics, without diagnosis and without knowing exact issue just issuing antibiotics and this is continuously going on from last two months and no solution provided, same in Ane, took blood sample and urine and we herd that they throw urine sample without any diagnosis, its just their guidelines and same antibiotics issued at last..Main problem is having something wrong in stomach and pain is there from more then last 2 months then why no sonography takes place on same day..In this country where diseases are too less, patients are too less, still not able to handle. In India same day treatment with report results takes place and each doctor diagnosis at the same point of time on same day. They treat more then 500 patients a day still able to solve on same day with report results..if such cases like malaria, dengue etc takes place here then what this trust do ? Care, mental health are just words on paper, no real implementation of it. Everyone knows this but not saying as they are on benefits but we paid too much and not expecting such delays and waiting time. System is not user friendly and only referred from one place to another for small small concerns, we can't take holidays for such daily activities. Medical treatment should be based on what we want and not by what a nurse said as per his understanding about severe issue which is normal according to them just to neglect same and wants to bear as much we can and make it more severe issue,if we want sonography then it should be on same day, how much time required for a single sonography it's just 5 minutes process, so create more centres as no much pending cases and delays are due to not getting immediate results and no resolution provided fast as dates are available and appointments are very less for same, still no one handle it seriously. So false statements are taken places and delays is due to useless guidelines and laziness.
