The whole experience of my cataract surgery was conducted by very caring staff and it was swift and painless with an excellent result. My sincere thanks to everyone at SpaMedica Chelmsford.

It was a great experience. The staff were wonderful and I felt at ease. From the time I entered the practice until the time I left, I was made to feel welcome. There was a hot drink available and a biscuit provided if one wanted. After the procedure, I had no qualms about future visits. I would go as far as to say that I am looking forward to it especially as it will only improve my life. Carolyn Reynolds

The welcome was professional and reassuring. I was impressed by the smooth efficiency of the procedure whilst being aware of the calm care of each individual.

On both visits we were greeted pleasantly by the man assisting new patients, the nursing staff were knowledgeable and competent. Tge whole experience was comfortable and my mother was pleased with the care she received. Well done to all concerned. Thank you.

I saw my optitian 26th June and was operated on 12th July just two weeks wait. The Spa Medica building only two miles from my home and so easy travel, building brand new. I was met by a friend who is a nurse at the practice and she made my visit very easy. The staff were all very nice and so no stress. The operation took approx ten minutes with no pain and very little discomfort, I tell friends that it was easier than having a tooth out, the operating theatre staff should be so proud to have such skills, to think what this operation was not so long ago, having to lie in bed for ten days with sand bags holding your head in place, I was home within two hours, thanks to my grand daughter driving me home. My recovery has been straight forward and driving on the third day. My eye sight is so much better and looking forward to the other eye having the same treatment. Thank you all and to the NHS.

Helpful and friendly staff with a warm welcome. Put me at ease as I have never had a treatment before and explained everything thoroughly. The sergon made me feel at ease so I was able to relax and let it all happen. Nothing bad to say about them as there customer service was 100% excellent. Hope to return for left eye.

This was my second cataract removal. From the initial assessment to having cataracts in both eyes removed it took only 6 weeks - an amazingly short time! On all occasions the care and attention I received was superb. I cannot praise enough the staff at SpaMedica at St Catherine's, Birkenhead.
