I was treated for the first cataract at the Swansea clinic and my treatment both at the assessment and when I had the surgery was excellent and my sight in that eye is so much clearer now.

My 82yr old mum had her cataract removed 2 days ago. She's not a good patient at all but the staff (from the concierge to the nurses) all made her feel at ease. They were patient with her and understanding of her needs. The place itself was very clean and very well laid out. She had a bit of discomfort on the afternoon of the procedure but since then she's been fine. Her vision is no longer blurry and she can see clearly. She can't wait for the other eye to be done!

A big thank you to all the staff, very professional and courteous. From being welcomed and looked after as soon as I walked through the door to making sure I was okay after the operation.

I had my second Cataract Surgery last week. It went very well. The staff are lovely and the Surgeon kept me informed of progress throughout the surgery. I found this very reassuring. The Hospital was very clean and I would recommend it to anyone wanting Cataract Surgery.

This was my second visit. I was disappointed in the registrar that performed surgery in that he seemed to need constant tuition during my procedure. I felt very nervous and unsettled, unlike my previous experience which was relaxed and professional

Very apprehensive about surgery, no need to worry all staff very kind and helpful put me at ease. Job done no worries when next eye has to be done. Thank you all.

From the second I stepped through the door I was treated with respect with a calm guiding helpful way, from the gentleman signing patients in right up to the surgeon who operated on my cataract.it was a painless,if strange feeling feeling having the operation done, meticulous and surprisingly quick, thanks to all! The staff at spa medica.

Thank you to everyone single member of staff who made my visit and my surgery painless and comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. An all-round wonderful service.
