Review titled They never answer their phone
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 20 June 2024
I try ringing so many times throughout the day and it goes to answer phone! I’m disabled and it’s hard to get out sometimes and I’d like to ring them to see if my medication is done and all I want to do is call them to see if their there ready for collection! So I don’t want to go there for a wasted trip as I hurt a lot!! Why won’t they answer there phone it’s so frustrating!!!!

Review titled Bad customer service

I have used this chemist all my life and have never had any problems getting my medication since Jhoots have taken over they are refusing to order my antipsychotic medication they keep telling me there is a manufacturing problem for the last 3 months I have had to go to Rochdale to get my medicine I have asked and asked why they can’t get it all of a sudden but they keep telling me that they use a different supplier and they can’t get them I rang them the day before I went to get my prescription I rang them 17 times and left messages but no response I went in and they told me that the reason they didn’t get back to me was because they are understaffed they told me to go back to my doctor and get a different medication I have been on the same medication for over 10 years and they would rather me change a medication that I’m stable on and change to something else which isn’t easy you have to come off one medication and start on another that might not agree with me it’s scary to have to change something so important I could risk losing my sanity and going back to square one I’m very upset and worried about what’s going to happen to me and no one seems to care

Review titled Busy bee!
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Each time I visit this pharmacy to pick up a prescription, it is full with patients but the lady on the front remains calm and collected and is a really hard worker, constantly on the go! I was watching her whilst I was waiting and thought she deserves to know that her hard work is greatly appreciated although she may not always feel that way. You are seen and valued. Thank you!

Review titled Great Experience

I have had a wonderful experience at Jhoots in Penn Manor this week. The staff have been very helpful and made sure to deliver my medication on time. There has been a massive improvement from the previous Lloyds.

Review titled Waste of space
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Yvonne - Posted on 21 February 2024
Absolute waste of time and need a good shake up. Went to the chemist on the 16th Feb to find a note on the door saying it was closed as the system had gone down, they are closed over weekend and I could only get back today the 21st of Feb to find the same thing! By this stage I had no inhalers. I then went to my gp to see if by some slim chance my script would be there as the chemist was closed, the reply was they had closed down and hadn’t bothered telling anyone, all locked up with peoples meds inside. The receptionist put an urgent request on my prescription for the Dr but said it will be tomorrow before I can pick it up so that’s now 2 days with no inhaler which I need daily. Thank you very much jhoots you absolute waste of space!

Phone was picked up in less than a minute and the helpful lady checked and advised medication prescription received. I was keen to collect as had ran out but she gave me a realistic timescale as had to order in. Really helpful as keen as I was didn't want a wasted journey. Great service for me today

Review titled Awful Service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 02 January 2024
Staff very rude, didn't seem to happy when I asked her if my medication was ready to collect. Very unhelpful and reluctant to help. Nobody should have to accept the service I recieved today. The lack of enthusiasm and genuinely helping patients and customers seems to have disappeared from this pharmacy. It's such a shame as it has got worse over time.
