For the last few years I have booked and received my annual flu jab at this pharmacy. The whole procedure, from booking to having the jab is so convenient. I am always asked when I visit, during late summer, if I would like to book for my flu jab and then my full details are efficiently taken and a suitable appointment given, all in privacy. On the day, I have never had to wait for more than 2 minutes to be taken into a private room, where all my details are again checked, and questions about allergies are asked. Any side effects I may feel are made clear and then finally I am asked if I am ok to receive the vaccination. All the staff I deal with in this pharmacy are always courteous, professional, helpful and polite and I am always met with a smiling face. Every year since COVID I have asked if I am able to have the covid booster vaccine alongside my flu jab at Swalecliffe pharmacy, unfortunately that is not yet available. When it is, I will be more than happy to book for that vaccine there as well. A,ways an excellent service.

Fantastic, supportive knowledge of pharmacist. He is worth visiting before the doctor. Well stocked chemist, with lots of special offers.

Even through current adversaries with pharmacies in this area, the staff here are coping efficiently. We were booked in for flu vaccinations, which were done on time. They have a wonderful system which seems to keep customers calm (Which also includes calm music playing at times!) They have a wonderful array of goods at reasonable prices! This is the best Pharmacy we have ever experienced! We moved here 6 years ago and wouldn't go anywhere else!!

I had just been to the doctors and they prescribed me some eczema cream for my baby who was in a lot of discomfort. We came to the pharmacy at 18:45 and it was closed. It stated on the door closing time was 19:00. I was very disappointed & angry by this as it was my only option, having been to 3 other pharmacies which were out of stock.

Dear Miss Andrews, We appreciate all feedback so thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear of your negative experience and understand your frustration. As of 01/01/23 our opening hours on Monday to Friday were changed from closing at 7pm to closing at 6pm. In order to do so we followed the correct protocols by gaining permission from the General Pharmaceutical Council and informing local surgeries in advance. From the beginning of December, we have advertised the new opening hours within the pharmacy and at the window have had it displayed on our screen to provide advance warning of the change to customers. Unfortunately, we could not alter the permanent signage on the door until the change had taken place and the company arranged to do so could not commit to an earlier date due to staff illness. Arrangements have been put in place to have the signage changed as soon as possible. We had hoped to change the opening hours without causing inconvenience to our customers. We apologise for the confusion regarding our opening times and hope to solve the situation soon. Kind regards, Swalecliffe Pharmacy Management

Very good pharmacy polite and helpful staff medicines all done correctly and on time. Excellent pharmacy would reccomend to everyone.
