Was pressured to use the NHS app, when informed it was not showing the medication required the pharmacist reluctantly "ordered" my prescription. Fast forward 2 weeks (over Easter) when I go to pick up my prescription - nothing available, contact GP. When GP was contacted I was informed no order had come through and this pharmacy has been known to not order prescriptions of my type. I was also told medications of the type I was requesting aren't available on the NHS app anyway. In addition to the incompetence, staff are rude and generally unhelpful. The pharmacy does not answer the phone and when they do they are unprofessional. I went in to the pharmacy with the intention of recommending it to my mother - I will now be changing my pharmacy. Today I tried to pick up a prescription that had been with the pharmacy for a couple of days. The gentleman serving basically told me that it “won’t be ready today” nor gave me any indication when it would be! What am I meant to do I asked? He looked around at the chaos of newly delivered med boxes and shrugged! The staff are rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, disorganised and quite frankly needs to be investigated as to competence. The amount of negative reviews speaks volumes. I will never go back to this pharmacy and will advise friends and family to stay well clear!!

Rude customer service by staff member, treated as an inconvenience. Did not feel confident after engagement as to what to watch out or when to escalate.

There is member of staff at this Tesco pharmacy in Salford that is arrogant rude very unprofessional I was spoke to as though I was an inconvenience not a customer who needed my prescription. Never use this chemist again they want closing down

Tesco pharmacy coulby newham. I’m registered disabled and since moving to the area I’ve had nothing but issues with this pharmacy and the treatment I get is deplorable. My prescriptions are issued the day they are due and so often when I ask for my prescription I’m usually told of in front of other waiting customers because I’m not giving them enough time to dispense the medication. When explaining the doctors are issuing them the day my prescription is due I’m often shut down with well we need time. Don’t bother ringing the chemist they never answer and when they do they put the phone down. They could be a long line round the corner and there’s no one at the serving desk and all seem to be behind the dispensing counter. You are often greeted with a rude manner. I understand this job can be stressful as I was a healthcare worker however people going to the pharmacist are often either ill or living with life long health conditions. Maybe they should show some empathy and compassion and learn better etiquette at customer service. I will certainly be glad when I’m no longer at patient at the clinic.

Having tried to collect a repeat script for my elderly mother having been texted by the Tesco Pharmacy in Toton Notts that the items were ready I was informed that one of the drugs was no longer available and I had to recontact the Drs to get a replacement drug - this was the day before the bank holiday was to begin so I had to move quick, the Drs did their bit another text from Tesco came thro and off I went to collect. When I got there there was only 2 weeks instead of 4 available and I will have to go back again to collect when they could get more in !! when I asked why in the first place the pharmacy did not contact the drs to change the script I was brushed aside by the assistant and he sniggered at myself and my husband who was with me, and the assistant then said next customer - he was very rude and his dismissive attitude upset me very much, knowing that I have to return to collect the remaining items and hopefully will not be treated like this in future. I fear that this male assistant will probably offend again as he seems to think that he is superior to the customer.

Took them 45 minutes to find my prescription and then I was told that half the items are missing but they don’t know if they’ve lost them or if the supplier didn’t send them. I asked what to do about it and was told they could possibly reorder but wasn’t sure and she couldn’t call me to let me know because they are too busy. I asked for the prescription back so I could try somewhere else but she says she couldn’t do that either.

Tesco Pharmacy send Text messages to customers when prescription is ready. when you go to collect your prescription you have to check the items as they leave items off the list without notifying you. when ever you go to collect the prescription you queue for 30 minutes as only one counter staff and one manager doing prescriptions, and it takes so long as others are complaining about second time they have been told to come back or things missing.

I was advised by 111 and a paramedic to go to this pharmacy to get antibiotics for tonsillitis (which pharmacist can now prescribe). The pharmacist was immediately rude and dismissed me saying he couldn’t just hand out antibiotics. He reluctantly took me into the assessment room and asked me to open my mouth, from which he didn’t even get off his chair or look in my throat properly. He told me he couldn’t give me antibiotics and advised me to try ibuprofen instead. At this point I was incredible upset and walked out. I was later that day prescribed antibiotics by a very kind pharmacist at another Tesco so his practice was clearly wrong and caused me unnecessary upset and time searching for another pharmacy. Please please please do not go here if you are in need of any kind of medical help!

Tesco pharmacy , Chesterfield. I queued for 10 minutes behind a person who was also waiting whist pharmacy staff behind the counter were laughing and joking and being very loud. I was then, very rudely, told I was queuing at the wrong side of the counter. Was ignored when I said I couldn't see a sign for queuing. Was told they hadn't got my medication (as was the person before me); no recommendation to come back another day or an alternative. Whilst I appreciate medicines may be more difficult to stock these days, that isn't why I'm leaving a bad review. I found the staff in that branch particularly rude, unhelpful and basically couldn't be bothered. I will never go back and will not recommend. NB - this is the 1st review I have ever felt strongly enough to leave for anyone
