I am deeply dismayed by the appalling service I received at Tesco St Oswalds on Thursday, 28 May 2024. Despite enduring a 15-minute queue, just 10 minutes shy of closing time, the pharmacy callously refused to prepare an antibiotic for my 7-year-old daughter, citing time constraints. Despite explaining the urgent nature of the situation, compounded by the closure of other pharmacies over the Easter weekend, they callously dismissed my concerns. This blatant disregard for patient welfare is utterly reprehensible and unacceptable. Tesco St Oswalds must urgently reassess their priorities and demonstrate a fundamental commitment to customer care and compassion.

Tesco pharmacy at Westwood Cross is diabolical. I que 25 mins for a prescription, que today was 9 people before me and get told to come back in 45 minutes, I then question up again, same again, 25 mins to collect my script. This isn’t a one off, this has been the situation every month since middle of last year. I work in care, I am collecting on behalf of a patient. I end up running late for the rest of my patients and work overtime without pay. I’m told it’s because they have to wait until we arrive before they can make them up. Whatever the system is it isn’t working! Arguments are happening in the que, the whole experience every month is too stressful and so unnecessary!

The normal pharmacist/ staff are good and nice. The two that were in over the Easter break were horrendous slow and unprofessional my husband has been without his medication for 5 days now as you can’t get close enough to get it the que is that long and they label things wrong like saying my husbands heart meds had to stay in the fridge which is wrong! And don’t ask the questions when you buy behind the counter meds asking for trouble big mistakes are coming

Our prescription was ready but owed some got a text saying they were ready went down still not ready My husband went to pick his prescription up they gave him another patient medication.

I called the pharmacy as my Dr's sent my monthly prescription there, on calling them I spoken to rjad joulak NHS number 2213720 he said couldn't find it and I said no problem I'll head into store as I know its been sent. I arrived at cradley heath tesco pharmacy and the pharmacist on at the time refused for no reason give me my medication even his colleague didn't know what to do cause I didn't do anything wrong for him not to dispense it. He also tried to come take my prescription back off me when his colleague printed it for me to collect from another pharmacy. Completely unacceptable this man shouldn't be working for the NHS!

Always have excuses, don't let you know when they are unable to fill the prescription. Appear to only use one wholesaler and hence more supply issues than most (profit appears to come first). Close at random times. Plenty of staff but generally always a long line. The pharmacist appears unwilling to jump in and help... Changing such that our families prescriptions are sent elsewhere.
