I had an item missed from my prescription, I rang Boots Skelmersdale. The phone rings for several minutes, and then drops the line, so you have to redial. I redialled 9 times before the phone was answred. They said it hadn't received the prescription from my GP. I rang my GP, they said they'll process it that day. I rang Boots Skelmeresdale again the next morning, the same procedure, but this time, it was 19! redials before it was answered. I was told they hadn't received the prescription from my GP. I then rang my GP, there were 19 callers in the queue before me, I eventually got through, they said they'd sent it the previous evening at around 5 pm. I rang Boots Skelmersdale again, this time it took me 29!! redials before they answrered. They said they had just received the prescription. This service is mirrored by the over the counter service. When you go in in person, you invariably have to wait while several other people are served. Alternately, if there's no one at the counter, you then have to wait, usually several minutes, before they deign to serve you. Boots Skelmersdale are ther most appalling service I have ever encountered.

There is a particular lady who works in the boots pharmacy who has always been very abrupt, even unkind in regards to mine and my families prescriptions. I did not realise until now that my sister and mother have had the same experiences with her. Often she will ask why we are having particular prescriptions and try to tell us we should be doing something else to help with our conditions instead. If we are ever looking for something in store and ask her she will give a basic description of where it is and leave us to it. We always get the impression that we are in her way and that she has better things to do than help us collect prescriptions. While she is working in the pharmacy, I am hesitant to recommend Boots.

I'm reaching out to express my profound disappointment with the service at a boots store on 3/05/2024 at 16-20 Earl Grey St, edinburgh eh3 9bn. Despite clearly explaining my stomach-related issue, I was prescribed cramp relief medication instead of reflux treatment by a blonde lady pharmacist. This oversight reflects a concerning lack of professionalism and attentiveness from your staff.

This pharmacy is constantly forgetting items from the prescriptions I pick up regularly, it's never ready for collection even though they send the email saying it is, and the icing on the cake was this most recent visit where I was told the prescription would be ready in a few minutes and told to take a seat. Flashforward 45 minutes and I'm still waiting. My problem isn't the wait time if they're busy - the problem is not being told about the wait time. Honestly the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with.

The girls attitude was rotten, they look down to you like your nothing shouldn't be aloud to work with the public if that's the attitude I am a carer and could never imagine having an attitude like that

Every time I going to pick up my prescription the pharmasist from boots Edmonton they short of stuff and they keep me waiting for an hour and behaviour is very rude to customers . nyechi ijeoma orji . Not recommend this pharmacy

Went to collect meds @ 15:00 on a Sunday. Pharmacist had left early so unable to dispense. Only option was to drive to a pharmacy a 7 minute drive away. Lots of upset customers. Other customers offering lifts to those unable to drive.

Very slow to issue repeat prescriptions, this month they were issued on 26th March by the surgery and seven days later still no text to say they are ready. Last month had a text to say they were ready, went to collect them and told to come back 30 minutes later as they were not ready. When I returned there were missing items which included epilepsy medication and I was told they would be available in two days, went back twice (with a 15 - 20 minute wait in the queue each time) to be told they were not available, seven days later they were finally there but again despite a text had to wait for them to be made up. Awful service, would not recommend.

I have always rated the Boots Pharmacy at Tamworth Street, Lichfield as 5 Star again i needed my main inhaler in a rush, the doctors pharmacy got it through very quickly and sent it to Boots who acted very quickly. I am glad to have them in my Life. Thank You

Had to pay twice for a prescription due to national shortages, as my tablets were switched over to capsules (originally only given a fraction of the tablets I was due). When I questioned this with the store manager, I was glibly told to take it up with the NHS. My response was that this was a stupid answer, as it was this Boots that supplied my tablets, and that they, at the very least should be following this up, rather than letting the burden fall on me. After all, they could not provide anywhere near a complete prescription, but still charged me. And then charged again for the replacements. The manager turned around and walked off without another word, and went to hide in his little office. Very unprofessional, in my opinion. He made no attempt to help in any way what-so-ever. Customer service just non-existant.
