Rated 5 stars out of 5

Attended A&E with haemorrhaging polyp, referred to Maxillofacial for assessment after stopping flow. Attended Maxillofacial assessment clinic few days later, and had polyp removed later same day. Excellent service.

Thank you for the excellent service I received in the Endocopy Department today. I came in for a colonoscopy and every member of staff I came across was kind, helpful and very caring, not just to me but to every patient. They put me at ease and the whole procedure was faultless. I honestly can't thank you enough.

  5. Review titled Friendly, rapid and informative treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Catherine Cavanagh - Posted on 06 January 2023

We arrived 8.30pm at A&E on a busy evening with numerous incidences of flu. Mum was suffering from a mini stroke and was seen within 5 mins of being met by friendly reception staff. The doctors kept me updated on the treatment process, she had a CT scan and we were able to leave within 3 hours. Thank you to all for your expert, cheerful and compassionate service.

  6. Review titled Extremely impressed

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Barbara Jones - Posted on 10 January 2023

I came into the Conquest A&E early on Jan 1 with breathing difficulties. Spent a day in the Emergency treatment room, then admitted with flu. I've never seen such efficient dedication and care and attention to detail, an endlessly busy team of doctors and nurses dealing with dozens of walk-ins, so much patience and warmth and efficiency. I am seriously impressed and have no doubt they saved my life. No idea how these fantastic people cope with risking their own health at the same time showing such professionalism and kindness, and good humour, towards the rest of us. Really heartwarming. A huge thank you from me.

  7. Review titled Exemplary

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by David S - Posted on 05 January 2023

I walked into the Conquest A&E at 6.15am on Bank Holiday 2nd Jan, with a pulse of 180 and was totally breathless, I could barely stand, I was triaged within 30mins and on a vitals support machine in A&E for 8 hours observation, a fabulous team looked after me (worked on me) and coordinated with the Cardio Dept and senior Drs gathering all the info needed, ecg’s, blood tests, xrays, blood pressure and pulse monitoring, so they and Cardiology had all the background needed to make the decisions required. I was stabalised as best my condition and body can allow currently and left the department the same day at 3-15pm with a next steps plan of action – which is very reassuring where one’s heart is involved. Sadly I did witness people in corridors in beds, and an A&E waiting room crammed to capacity, everyone was trying to do the best they could in a highly pressurised situation. Thank you Conquest Hospital for all you did for me and are going to continue to do as we find out more about my poorly body.

  9. Review titled Excellent care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 January 2023

I recently received excellent care at the Conquest for a gynae procedure. All the staff were kind, caring and professional ; those on Gardner ward and the theatre staff. The doctor was very reassuring, and empathic on the day and followed this with a validating letter. The HCA was kind, with a lovely sense of humour. I really valued the empathy of the theatre sister prior to the procedure. Really great experience when the NHS is under so much pressure - thank you all
