Review titled Seems unorganized
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I am using St Heliers Maternity for my second baby (1st one at St George's) and the experience has so far been really bad. The midwife was bragging about how good they are at the first appointment, but it's not been great. They say they are paperless and use the Badger Notes app, this is far from true. The app is barely updated with any of my health records so I don't have access to any of it. At every scan, my results are printed for me, again defeats the purpose of the app. I'm currently 32 weeks, and the app hasn't been working for a few days. So I don't know when/if I have any appointments (this is the only main thing that I have to refer to the app for). It has been a really disappointing experience, especially after having an amazing experience at St George's. It's a shame that I'm forced to use it because of moving house.

Review titled exceptional attention
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Good morning, Two months ago we went to the emergency room at St Helier and Queen Mary's Children's Hospital because our son was feeling unwell. They treated him immediately and operated on him for appendicitis. We only have words of gratitude for all the hospital staff who treated us. We were starting our vacation in England and they were very difficult times for us, at all times we felt very well cared for. Our son recovered as expected by doctors and we were able to continue our vacation as recommended. We would like to highlight and thank both the professional and human quality of the entire team. Thank you very much

I have just received two days of care at Epsom Hospital which was completely outstanding. I was dealt with promptly, every possible cause of my problem was explored thoroughly and every single member of staff was not only professional, but also cheerful, helpful and courteous. I feel extremely lucky to have received such a very high standard of care. It simply could not have been better. Thank you so much.

Review titled Excellent experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5

From the minute we stepped into A&E in Epsom hospital today were treated with the greatest of efficiency and respect. As my husband has a serious underlying condition we were seen by a triage nurse within minutes of arriving. She could not have been more helpful and pleasant and she put us at ease immediately. Within just another couple of minutes we were seen by a doctor who was also very thorough and reassuring. He immediately arranged XRays and we were given his results stray away. Congratulations to everyone and thank you for your excellent care and kindness.

Had a great experience at St Helier Eye hospital yesterday 20/06/2024. The staff were friendly and efficient and my consultation was excellent and very thorough. Everything was explained to me and I left feeling very happy with the attention I had been given. Great job!!

Review titled Booking blood test
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by sarah hubert - Posted on 09 May 2024
The online booking blood test directions I was given on a sheet at the Birches are incorrect and the telephone service doesn't include the Birches. I tried to sign up for the booking service but it said my email address was already in use, I wasn't aware I already had an account and it gave me no option to recover my password. A very frustrating and time wasting process. The system for booking blood tests needs improvement.

Review titled Ultrasound Scan
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Tina lyons - Posted on 13 May 2024
I have returned from an ultrasound scan at St. Helier hospital. I was scanned by the most lovely, efficient, happy and polite young man. I was nervous before the scan but he was very reassuring and confident. I wanted to leave a review as he made the scan such as positive experience.

Review titled Frustrated

My wife wants to book an xray at the Jubilee Centre in Wallington but the NHS website gives a non-existent phone number and there is no other listed means of contact. This is extremely poor.

I had to visit A&E St Helier unexpectedly on 10.03.24. I was triaged quickly and assessed thoroughly. The doctor ensured I received full assessment for the symptoms I was displaying. My impression while in the waiting room was that all patients were being treated sympathetically and that the process was as efficient as possible with so many people with different ailments to assess. I eventually left the hospital in a better place than when i arrived. Thanks St Helier!
