The procedure followed was similar to that for the first eye, except the operating table was horizontal rather than with my head tipped slightly downwards. I found in this position it was more difficult for me to hold my head as requested by the surgeon.

I have waited since December 2022 for Laser treatment, I have been unable to drive more for than 3 years due to cataracts. However, as soon as I contacted Newmedica I was given an appointment. My treatment was carried out quickly by very friendly and helpful associates and a consultant. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone .

From the moment I arrived at the clinic, any nervousness I was feeling was allayed by the kindness and care I received from everyone, from the receptionist who greeted me cheerfully and kept me informed to the nursing staff who looked after me so well and to the surgeon who was not only skilful but also communicative and compassionate, confirming constantly that I was OK. Everyone worked together as a team and, while working with efficient professionalism, maintained a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much!

Wonderful welcome very thorough pre assessment and access to talk to a consultant within 2 weeks. The clinic surrounding were extremely clean parking was excellent and it is accessible.

For both of my visits for cataract surgery every member of staff were polite and reassuring both prior to and during the surgery and i was contacted the next day to confirm everything was ok with my eyes after each of my two visits. A really lovely and efficient service. Thank you

Everyone was efficient and very helpful and friendly, also put you at ease as soon as you walked through the door. You did feel nervous at any time.

The care that I received was outstanding from the moment I entered the reception area to the fantastic surgeon who talked me through and explained every step as he carried out the procedure. Every member of staff in this exceptionally modern, clean and welcoming clinic were professional as well as caring and kind and I cannot praise them enough. I truly believe that this is a centre of excellence in every respect and deserves more than a 100% recommendation for cataract surgery. Please may I express my most sincere and heartfelt gratitude for everything and to everyone.
