I am so grateful to SpaMedica Bedford for giving me new lenses in my eyes (cataract) I had waited 2 years on other providers but was seen and operated in n within weeks of being referred here. All the staff were lovely…. encouraging and informative. Without the operations I would have had to stop doing the things I love most … I can’t thank you enough xx

The whole process from first being referred to having the procedure done, was not only very quick, but also very efficient and caring. I was never left waiting very long and at each stage the staff I saw were kind and considerate and explained what they were about to do. The surgeon who performed the cataract operation was brilliant and made me feel calm.

I would like to thank all staff concerned for the excellent care I received during my cataract surgery. The clinic is run very efficiently, with full explanations given at each stage.

I was referred by the optometrist on 18th. April and had the pre-op assessment 6th. May. The operation itself was on 25th. May but could have been a week earlier had I not been on holiday. Both appointments were on time and everything ran like clockwork.

I have had cataract surgery at this clinic on both eyes this year. On both occasions the staff have been very efficient, very friendly and very considerate. Both surgeons were extremely professional and reassuring, and the results of the surgery have been truly amazing. I can now read a vehicle number plate at twenty yards without glasses for the first time in thirty years! A brilliant experience!

The whole procedure from assessment to the operation and then the follow up was done by a very well prepared team without any fuss and the outcome was astonishing. I did not know what to expect but found there was no pain, very slight discomfort for a very short while and the sight of the eye which was operated on was improved beyond anything I could have expected. I am delighted with the outcome.

For someone who is usually very nervous when it comes to any medical procedure I was pleasantly surprised at how relaxed everyone at SpaMedica Bedford made me feel, from my pre-op appointment to my cataract surgery. All the nurses and the surgeon were brilliant and can't wait to have my other eye done. Thank you all very much.
