From seeing my optometrist to being referred was only two weeks. When l arrived at SpaMedica in Derby my experience moved like clockwork in this very modern environment. The teams operated in a very smooth professional way completing their task without stress in any way. I would like to make particular reference to the surgeon and his team in removing my right eye cataract resulting in my vision being greatly improved in four hours. Thank you so very much.

Amazing service. Quick referral from optician to cataract surgery. All done in less than 4 weeks. Couldn’t have asked for more. First class.

Good experience of having my Cataract removed, every member of staff do their best to put you at ease. In particular I would like to mention the surgeon & operating room staff who were absolutely great and did their best to put me at ease. Operation took around 15 minutes with surgeon explaining everything he did. Arrived for my appointment at 8.30am & was back home at 10.45pm extremely efficient service in a modern building with caring staff. Will certainly recommend SpaMedica

Agree with all reviews read. Can’t fault the care received. Expected a three month wait but from optician to surgery took only ten days. Thanks to all at the surgery.

This was just such a slick service from the NHS. The staff were so friendly and whisked me through the whole experience. The procedure was completely painless and done so quick. Everything was fully explained and I am very happy with the results on both eyes.

My referral was made by my optician and within 2 weeks i was seen and had my surgery and i can't thank everyone enough for the professional care that i was given from the moment i walked through the door from the staff nurses and the surgeon they all put me at ease because they could see i was very nervous and when i come to remove my eye patch the next day i was completely shocked at how much i could see i can't remember the last time i had such good vision as i have now i would like to say a big thank you to everyone at spamedica Derby you are all amazing and a special thank you to the surgeon you have gave me a new lease of life and made me a very happy lady look forward to seeing you all again to get my left eye done God bless you all
