You are greeted by friendly staff and offered a drink on arrival. After you have completed a little paper work your procedure starts with some eyedrops. The staff keep you informed of everything to expect and put you at ease. The cataract procedure is explained to you by the doctor and is quite a painless experience. Then you leave the clinic with all the information you need for your aftercare. Well done Spamedica.

Everything about my experience with SpaMedica was brilliant. All the staff were kind and considerate and l was very surprised at how short the waiting time was between being referred by my optician to the actual surgery on my first eye. All in all it was a credit to your organisation.

Excellent care throughout. Staff were friendly and kept me informed at every step. Procedure took place much sooner than expected.

I was really worried about having cataract surgery but was pleasantly surprised, everyone was so nice and reassuring put me at ease, couldn't believe how quick it was , my surgeon was lovely chatted to me throughout ,

I was nervous about having the cataract in my right eye done..I needn't have worried,the staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived at 8.10 am and was done and dusted and on my way home at 10.00am. Absolutely super treatment and service.

I attended Spa Medica for intrim tests on Tuesday the 8th of August' after all tests were carried out i was imformed that surgery on my right eye (Cataract) would available on the morning of Thursday 10th August i was elated and duly attended as requested. my whole experience over the two days was one of absolute delight The staff from start to finish were absolutly brilliant,caring and considerate , thank you for making my stay as comfortable as possible.

Referred 2nd June, 1st eye done 12th July, 2nd eye on 14th August. Wonderful, friendly, caring, efficient and professional staff. I was leaving the building 70 minutes after my appointment time with a beautiful new lens, 2 cups of gratuitous hot chocolate and a 3 pack of biscuits. I cannot overstate how excellent the whole experience has been.

Spa Media is an excellent place for cataract removal. They treat patients with care and the whole experience is very much less traumatic than expected. Highly recommended.
