Wow,what an amazing experience I was so nervous going there but from start to finish all the staff were so caring,I just can’t wait to get my other eye done,thank you everyone.

The whole company operation is very efficient and smooth running with helpful staff. Theatre staff in particular do their best to put you at ease. Discharge nurse was rather rushed. Pleased with the result. Afterwards at home I struggled to administer the eye drops correctly despite being used to putting in drops daily. The bottle supplied is too small and awkward to dispense drops. A pump action dispenser would be a great improvement. Also supply information about eye drop aids in the brochure given out beforehand not after surgery.

All medical procedures, perhaps more so with eyes, comes with some apprehension. Do not fear. SpaMedica Derby have this down to an art form. The whole team worked like a well oiled machine to guide you through the process to a more than satisfactory and timely end. My less than an hour experience from walking in, to tea and biscuits in the waiting area for my lift home, was a complete revelation. I will not worry about getting my other eye treated when the time comes. The NHS at its very best. Well done all and thank you.

The whole experience of Spa Medica Derby has been first class. All the staff are friendly, professional and helpful. I received detailed information in the post about how the process works from pre-op assessment to the actual surgery so I knew what to expect. At the assessment they explained what they were doing and why and explained what improvement I could expect in my eyesight following the procedure. On the day of the surgery everything went smoothly and I couldn’t believe how quick and pain free the operation was. I’m writing this the day after the surgery and I already have my distance vision back and can once again use my reading glasses. It’s life changing and I would say to anyone who is feeling worried, you’ll be in safe hands and the procedure won’t be as bad as you are probably imagining.

The first step in the door and team kicked in each stage of the treatment was explaned to me and every part of my visit and after the treatment a phone call was made for pickup home. just Brill

referred through optician, I have required a cataract operation on both eyes. On both occasions the speed of appointment's has been very prompt. The staff have been very friendly, efficient and displayed understanding which provided a feeling of confidence and well being.

i had a fantastic experience from walking in the door everyone that works there is very friendly runs very smoothly had my cataract removed didn’t feel a thing it’s my first day and my eye sight is 100% better

I was treated by very kind caring people that made you feel relaxed right from going through the door. They looked after you regarding refreshments etc. I would have no problems going back to them again
