Had my first cataract surgery and cannot fault SpaMedica. The service was quick, my treatment was exemplary and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend SpaMedica Exeter

I cannot give high enough praise to all the staff, both medical and non medical, who looked after me both before , during and after my cataract surgery. Everything was quick, efficient and reassuring from referral to operation was about 6 week (including Christmas and New Year!) I wish all NHS services were as efficient as SpaMedica Exeter Huge thanks to you all

I took my elderly mother who suffers from vascular dementia here after a referral from her optician for cataract removal. From the moment we walked in until we left today after her second eye, we were both treated politely, courteously and with respect. The initial consultation in November was great, both myself and my mum were treated well and the nurse in charge of us, really explained things to mum and checked her understanding. We were then offered the right eye op the following Saturday. This was carried out well and the aftercare treatment fully explained. We returned today for her second eye some 10 weeks later and everything appears to be good. Yhe sahe nurse looked after mum and remembered us both. I was able to leave mum and ate wasn’t concerned as she felt secure. The whole clinic was clean and everyone very welcoming. I thoroughly recommend as a location for eye surgery. Thank you.

I had a cataract removed from my eye on 10th December 2023 and the experience was very positive. The efficiency and friendliness of the whole team (from Reception staff to the surgeon, and everyone in between) was brilliant. I felt reassured and informed at every step. The outcome is a huge improvement to my vision, for which I am very grateful. I would recommend SpaMedica to anyone needing the same procedure.

Very quick and courteous and now on the day after the operation feeling no ill effects and am blessed with fantastic vision through the cured eye. Please send my heartfelt thanks to the surgeon who did it. Well done!

I thought the left eye procedure (in October) and the surgeon conducting it were fantastic ... The procedure on the right eye was even better. Much quicker, less worrying. An amazing surgeon with a lovely demeanour.
