I came to SpaMedica Exeter for my second cataract operation on the NHS. The staff and service were very friendly, efficient and highly professional. The operation was painless and only had grittiness for one day. I have really noticed a complete change in my eyesight especially after my first cataract operation, everything looks so much clearer. I can only thank all the staff for such a wonderful service and highly recommend Spa Medica Exeter to everyone.

I have just had the first of my cataract operation done by SpaMedica in Exeter. I was somewhat apprehensive but the whole experience was excellent. Their administration is friendly and efficient, and gave me all the information I needed. On arrival at the centre I was met by very friendly staff and throughout the clinical process I was treated with kindness, understanding and professionalism. All facilities were absolutely immaculately clean. The surgical procedure was fast and painless, and I cannot praise the surgeon highly enough. I have already recommended SpaMedica to friends. I must add that I have no connection with the company other than as a patient.

Very pleasant, professional staff, I arrived on time and was dealt with promptly, no sitting in a waiting room for ages, complimentry refreshments were available before and after the painless, comfortable proceedure. All in all a very pleasant visit. My husband now calls me Superwoman thanks to my new "X Ray" eyes.

From the minute I arrived the whole process was extremely professional, there was someone to meet you, I was offered a drink and snacks, each assessment was carried out to a very high standard and the procedure explained, the surgeon had a few words or reassurance before I was taken through to the operating theatre, the after care was explained in detail with a booklet to take home, overall a very positive experience.

Accompanying my nervous 90 something father for cataract surgery. His second surgery at Exeter. Uniformly pleasant, compassionate and patient staff... For which, many thanks! I know my father was a bit confused with the theatre staff and who was who and doing what ...especially with people in scrubs! So would be really helpful if staff could give a one line intro to patients routinely.
