I had my appointment this morning and can’t speak highly enough of all the people involved in my care. The nurses who prepared me for the procedure and the eye surgeon were very friendly and helpful and took the trouble to explain every step of the way. The procedure went smoothly and I didn’t have to wait. I would highly recommend Exeter Spa Medica for cataract treatment. Thanks!

I had cataract surgery as an NHS patient at the beginning of February and received outstanding care from start to finish. Arriving for my assessment in the company's own transport with uniformed friendly driver everything was taken care of, including the provision of refreshments. All my questions had been answered by the team of medical staff and plenty of detailed literature provided to refer back to at home. As I suffer from mild anxiety and apprehension, this experience took away a lot of my fears, so I felt a bit more at ease ahead of the impending procedure. The actual surgery went very well and again I was provided with lots of advice for my post-surgical care. The facility itself is outstanding, very modern, nice and clean and every detail is thought through. I highly recommend SpaMedica for cataract surgery.

From the pre-assessment to the cataract operation the whole process was absolutely first class All of the staff were so efficient and friendly that at no time did I not fear that the operation would be a complete success Thank you so much SpaMedica

The medical side was excellent. Almost all staff were caring and helpful. But I was left in a waiting area advertised as up to 1 hour which turned into 2 and a half hours with noone checking up on the patients or explaining the delay. Also, the reception tv showed a seies of adverts with nubile young ladies in 'alluring' positions which I and my husband found shocking in this day and age.

From start to finish of treatment, the service was excellent. The clinic was easy to find and staff welcoming and supportive. It’s wonderful that I can see to write this review.

I can't praise highly enough Spamedica..the speed of getting an appointment/treatment.. the kindness and efficiency of the staff, not to mention the aftercare..access to phone queries etc. I can't thank you enough Exeter, in this day and age you are indeed outstanding.

I have nothing but praise for Exeter Spa medica, everything was explained, even consultant talked me through everything he was doing whilst doing procedure, I was made to feel very relaxed and looked after, I would have no hesitation in recommending the clinic.

I was amazed that I was able to be offered an appointment during my first assessment. All the staff I encountered were helpful, friendly and reassuring including the surgeons. The only negative is that it was very cold in the surgical waiting area so I would recommend wearing warm layers on the day of the op.

All the staff were polite and helpful. I was treated with respect at all times. The cataract surgery went ahead with no problems. I have now had both eyes done, thank you.

My cataract assessment and surgery was absolutely brilliant. From my assessment I only had to wait 10 days for my surgery. All throughout this process I was treated with friendly respect and with kind care. At all times I felt well supported and I am very pleased with the skill of the nurses and the surgeon.
