This process was like a coveyer belt, very rushed and in the main impersonal. I saw 5 different professionals in pre op, all asking the same queations. I only saw 4 professionals on day of operation, again impersonal. The whole experience was very rushed, and confirmed by 2 of the professionals. The surgeon obviously didnt attend the 'bedside manner' lecture as i stood up from the operation they were washing the bed down in readiness for the next. Having had my other cataract on the NHS the experience with SpaMedica was more painful and very discomforting. I presume the surgeon is on a time scale which didn't help. If this was my first eye i wouldn"t go back to SpaMedica.

From the minute you go to reception you are treated fantastic you are told exactly what is going to happen the staff are amazing the building is immaculate and the operation is over in no time

The hospital was spotlessly clean. The staff were very efficient and caring. They explained every step of the way what they were doing or going to do. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend them to anyone about to have a cataract operation.

Everyone was welcoming and very reassuring. I attended the clinic to have a cataract removed. My treatment was extremely successful and I am delighted with the result.

Smooth, stress free, well run service. The staff were professional, and explained the process comprehensively and clearly. I felt comfortable and confident throughout. Only one small niggle would be the lack of the provision of paper towels to wipe off the excess water resulting from the irrigation during the procedure. They do mention that there's water, which is fine, but they don't mention there's nothing provided to mop it up. Otherwise, very happy patient.

My entire experience at this hospital was superb. The staff are so friendly, professional and understanding of any anxiety and take the time to listen and explain everything. The hospital itself is so well equipped with every facility for the patients and spotlessly clean

Had a cataract procedure done at SpaMedica Liverpool ( edge lane) from my initial consultation to cataract op the staff are so friendly, professional, make you feel at ease, inform me every step of the way. 5 stars. Couldn’t fault any of the staff there. All amazing . Thank you for being an excellent team and making this ageing ( not old ) lady feel so relaxed and in safe hands. Strange to say I’ll be looking forward to my return for my next eye procedure.
