From the second I arrived I was immediately taken care of. They were aware I had had a bad experience elsewhere and a long time ago, therefore they took excellent care of me, we're very attentive, I felt in safe and supportive hands. The procedure itself was completed with sheer efficiency, and it was all done before I knew it. Afterwards, they helped me to contact my daughter, gave me a drink whilst I waited for my lift and took great care of me through every stage of my journey. All of the staff were so friendly, I could not have had a better experience!

Extreemly effecient welcoming and caring on each occasion from all members of staff. Good parking , people accompanying patients also well looked after.

I have just had both eyes done. On each occasion it went like clock work. Plenty of staff, all well trained , upbeat and courteous . Minimal wait. Surgery about 5 minutes. No pain, some discomfort looking at a bright light. Clear advance instructions and debrief. 10/10.

Thank you Spamedica for the excellent care I received during my recent cataract surgery. I found all the staff to be polite, caring, efficient and knowledgeable in their own areas. Ample patient information available in the form of posters and booklets. Designated areas were well signposted and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Congratulations on your CQC "Excellent" award, you all deserve it. Thank you NHS, you saved my life three years ago and now you've given me back my vision.

From going in all staff very welcoming and put you at ease right throughout the process during surgery nurses very kind and surgeon explained every step of the way what he was doing very happy with results of cataract removal and very good after care thank you to all staff

My appointment went smoothly. Staff are very helpful and sympathetic. Nothing is rushed and each step is explained. Day iof the surgery went very well, surgeon and staff patient and understanding. Felt very relaxed and have no qualms about my second eye being done. Suggestion; would it be possible to have the eye shield made in a dark plastic like a sunglasses lens. I wear glasses but could not get sunglasses over the eye shield. On a sunny day this was painful.

I was seen promptly on the two occasions I went to SpaMedica. The procedure was explained simply and clearly. Any questions I asked were dealt with. I was treated with kindness, respect and great care on the day of the operation. After the operation the nurse explained clearly the instructions for me to follow for the drops, and what I could and couldn’t do. All seems to have gone well. Thank you so much for your care and support it was very much appreciated.

Had a left eye cataract proceedure for anyone about to have this done you can expect to be treated in the most caring and professional way and the results for me have been astonishing. All the staff from the reception team through to the nursing staff and finally the surgeon were amazing. I didn't get chance to thank them all personally Thank you all very much Peter
