I had been told that my cataract surgery would be quick and pain free but I was still surprised to find this was true. From the welcoming staff to the clinicians, everyone was uplifting, professional and reassuring, so that I felt relaxed and confident throughout.

I was extremely nervous before the procedure. Each and every member of staff from the time I walked through the door worked tirelessly to calm me prior to the surgery and supported me through the experience by holding my hand and chatting to me. The surgeon was really encouraging and talked me through every second of what was happening. One day later and I am not in the least concerned about having the second eye done. Thank you so much everyone at SpaMedica.

Felt very comfortable and relaxed from start to finish all the members of Staff were very friendly and put me at ease. Plenty of refreshments whilst waiting for you turn

Recently attended for cataract surgery. A warm welcome from the cheerful Reception team was equally matched by the friendly eye “examination” teams. On the day of the operation the same friendly and informative experience was provided by the surgical staff.

I had my first cataract surgery in October 2022 at Newcastle and had the second one done on 20/2/23 with noticeable benefit from the second day. The reception staff are welcoming and the medical staff are efficient, knowledgeable and reassuring. I felt completely at ease on both occasions and would strongly recommend this Centre. Thank you to everyone involved.

I am 62 and was referred for a cataract opperation .from my initial assessment to being assesed to being discharged after my operation ,I could not fault the the professionalism of all the staff .I was treated excellent from start to finish,nothing was too much trouble for them.everything was explained to me and if I thought of any questions,they were answered which put me at ease.Also from being referred by my opinion to having my surgery was completed in less than 2 months.i can't thank spamedica enough THANK YOU

Right from the moment I arrived you were treated with individual attention and courtesy and each stage of the process you were talked through what was going to happen that allayed any doubts you may have,and throughout the operation you felt comfortable and without any discomfort could not fault the staff or process.what a difference the operation has made to my life cannot thank NHS/Spamedica enough
