Had the second of my cataract operations yesterday. Everything was excellent. The nursing staff, the receptionists and the consultant were all caring, informative and accomplished. I couldn't have asked for a better team. This also applied to the first operation. Thank you.

Nothing negative to say about my cataract operation. all went exactly as I had been told & I can't thank the surgeon & team enough.

This was my second visit to have cataracts removed. At each visit the procedure was professional and painless. The staff from being welcomed at the door to reception and the medical personnel were all friendly ,helpful and professional. It is a first class well run clinic. My thanks to all of them.

I recently had a cataract op. I was petrified but all the staff were understanding, reassuring & considerate. One nurse even held my hand throughout the op. It was a very smooth and painfree op with instant improvemnet in brightness , clarity and colour. They continued to check i was Ok and had a drink before i left. I went from being petrified to i would rather do this than visit a dentist. When i go back at some stage for the other eye i will be much more relaxed. The staff here really do go that extra mile.

I had operation on my eye a few days ago,its only a few days ago,but my sight is improving already. All the staff at SpaMedica in Newcastle were very professional, but really friendly,and explained exactly how the procedure would be done.i would highly recommend the clinic,and I'm looking forward to having my cataract procedure done on my other eye.

From start to finish - visiting with my frail 90 yr dad (who also has memory loss) - the staff were so kind and professional. We were offered a drink (very welcome as it was only 8am)... from a machine so wasn't expecting it to be very good - but we were pleasantly surprised. Each step of the process was explained clearly - what to expect and how he would feel. We didn't have to wait very long at all between each process. This felt like a private clinic (sorry NHS that wasn't meant to offend other depts)... the follow up procedure is only several weeks away and we look forward to returning and feel confident that the whole procedure will be positive- thank you to all the wonderful staff .
