Referred by Specsavers. Response from SpaMedica the following week to contact to arrange pre-op. Given appointment quite quickly. Appointment very effient with pre-op checks procedure clearly displayed on wall. Operation date again, offered promptly. Treated well on Operation day & everything explained clearly. My only negative was the length of time between being given drops to dilate pupils/anaesthetic & actual Operation which seemed endless, especially as I was quite nervous. Otherwise very good treatment.

Hardly any waiting time after referral from Optician. A quick pre-op assessment appointment with cataract surgery four days later! Post-op assessment early on request. All staff extremely pleasant and helpful. A very efficient service. Thank you.

I was there for a pre-assessment as well as cataract surgery on the next day. From start to finish it was an amazing, efficient, friendly, professional and kind experience. Staff- both medical and reception - simply could not have done any more to make it as pleasant an occasion as possible.

Very clean and friendly environment, the staff made me feel welcome, offering tea, coffee and biscuits. At every stage the medical team explained what was going to happen and asked if that was OK? And if I had any questions or concerns. The surgeon and his team were very efficient and professional , providing reassurance throughout. The post surgery care and information for what to do when at home was very clear and in easy to understand . All in all a very pleasant experience bearing in mind no one really relishes the idea of an eye operation.

This appointment was for cataract surgery on my second eye. The staff were so efficient, friendly , kind and helpful and put me at my ease. The surgery went very smoothly and the outcome has been most successful. I sincerely thank all the staff involved. I must add that SpaMedica Oxford is beautifully looked after. The cleaners deserve praise too.

I was very nervous, but upon arrival I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. Everything was explained to me as I went through each part of my assessment. I was offered my procedure the next week. Again, I knew exactly what was happening, Brilliant.

I was made to feel at ease as soon as we arrived. Name ticked off on the list at reception. Refreshments available It was about 1 1/2 hrs before I was initially seen and given eye drops. There was a little delay as my name did not appear listed on the nurses screen. After consultation with colleagues it was sorted out Then 1 1/2 hours till the op to wait. I felt the op was very efficient and went smoothly and I felt confident with their expertise Having arrived at the appointed time at 10.20 I was free to leave shortly after 2pm

Recommended by the optician and had the pre-op within the week and the operation one week later. Staff were friendly, helpful and put me at my ease. Contacted me 6 weeks later to arrange second procedure which also went OK

Both times (16 Dec & 17 Jan) found all staff very helpful, informative and welcoming. Both surgeons were very professional. I had no post-operative problems. Clinic is an excellent facility.
