I was treated very well throughout and the staff are exceptional. There was nothing I can fault, from walking in the door on the first day to leaving after my op.

I had my first Cataract done at this clinic on 23/11/23 and it was brilliant however I had my second one done on 18/01/24 and the surgeon was very short with answers and also when he was cleaning around my eye socket I found him to be very rough and it was very painful and 3 days after the procedure it’s still swollen and tender. I have said to my family that if this had been my first surgery I would have been very wary of going back for the second one.

This was my second cataract surgery and it was just as superb from start to finish as my first. Transport was well organised and driver friendly. Reception and medical staff welcoming and very helpful. The surgeon introduced himself and took time to reassure everyone. The operation was painless and very straightforward as promised, followed by full post op instructions. The whole procedure was excellent and I fully recommend SpaMedica as a wonderful, caring organisation.

I am very impressed with The Oxford SpaMedica Eye Hospital. The experience from entering the Hospital to leaving was excellent. Extremely efficient and very friendly staff. I felt very at ease with all the various stages leading up to my cataract operation and during it. I was even given a choice of hot drinks and biscuits. On being discharged from The Hospital, I was given a home guide and kit on how to clean my eye and chart with biro to mark off my 4 times a day eye drops for 14 days. A big thank you to all concerned at SpaMedica and The Oxford Team. My operation is a great success.

I have been to the hospital twice for a cataract removal on one eye. Both times I was respected and treated extremely well by all Staff. nurses and doctors. They put me at ease and made me very comfortable, they also did not keep me waiting. Because I don't drive transport was provided by Spamedica, which was punctual, friendly and comfortable. The driver was very knowledgeable of the roads , very friendly and drove very safely. I would recommend Spamedica to people and the NHS.

Had cataract surgery on both eyes in the space of six weeks. Staff really professional and caring. The whole facility is spotless, would recommend this hospital to anyone who has the opportunity to have treatment there.

Service and support both pre-op and post-op could not be faulted. Exceptional level/quality of communication throughout the period of contact with SpaMedica. Tremendous result from the operation providing for clarity of colours and much more comfortable driving in the dark.
