The unit is easy to find and has ample parking. It was spotless and welcoming from stepping through the door. Complimentary teas and coffees are available at all times. All the staff, through receptionists to surgeon, are amazing; each and everyone is friendly, reassuring, helpful, compassionate and instil confidence.

From being picked up at the door, the whole experience was carried out with the upmost professionism. The staff were very caring and totally made me feel at ease. The eye surgeon was second to none and gave me a comentry all the way through, a total of 20 minutes max. V,vallender

The three times I visited SpaMedica I received excellent treatment from all the very friendly receptionists, nurses, opticians and surgeon. I will definitely return when the cataract in my other eye needs surgery. Thank you to everyone.

I had complex cataract surgery 10 days ago and was very impressed and thankful for all the service I received throughout. All the staff (from driver to surgeon) were helpful, kind, supportive and efficient. I am an NHS patient but I feel that I couldn't have received any better treatment had I gone privately.

Found staff considerate, informative, helpful and re-assuring throughout my operation. The surgeon and the theatre staff were fantastic. Special arrangements had been made because of my allergies which made realise I was in secure and safe hands. Really impressed.

Dad is 93 and has had both his eyes done at this clinic, and on each visit I have to say from the welcome at the door to the reception and all the members of staff that dealt with Dad, we received a friendly, helpful and very professional service. I can’t thank you enough.

Was treated at Chapeltown as they could offer earlier appointmant than Derby. I found the whole process to be very professional and well organised. The facility is modern and clean and is very easy to find. All staff are helpful and friendly.

I was referred for removal of a cataract. I was seen within a week of the Optician's referral, and had my op around five weeks later. I can't speak too highly of this clinic. Everything was well organised, and thoroughly checked at each stage of the assessment, and on the day the whole experience was brilliant. I had been a little anxious, but everything was carried out efficiently, the op seemed only to take about five minutes and each stage was explained by the surgeon as he went along. I am now looking forward to having my other eye done.

I was referred to SpaMedica Sheffield for cataract surgery. From the initial assessment soon afterwards, in July 2022, to discharge in early December, I was eminently satisfied. The surgery was totally successful. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful, courteous and professional. At each stage, I felt I was being treated in a personal and respectful way. I was given time to ask questions and express anxieties. The entire experience was totally positive.
