This was my second procedure in 2 months. Before the first operation I was extremely worried but by the second I felt confident in their ability, relaxed by their attitude and impressed by their professionalism. I am extremely grateful for everything they did and I will recommend them 100%. After my first operation I put the story on my Facebook page. Then I discovered that friends of mine from Manchester, Farnham and Reading had already visited their regional Spa Medica Clinics and all felt the same as myself. Grateful.

From friendly greeting at the door and reception to pre-operation nurse, pre theatre checks, nurses in theatre, consultant surgeon and very reassuring and friendly discharge nurse, everything explained and carried out expertly and efficiently. Explanations good and expectations set well. Oh and my cataract is gone.

Was rather nervous going, in but was certainly reassured by all the amazing friendly staff, and how right they were, it was so quickly done the longest time is the tests as you would have at your opticians, so the operation was the quickest, and so easily done by qualified specialist, certainly won't be nervous for my next eye.

Seen very quickly after initial consultation (5days) and surgery was fine. Staff very friendly and professional throughout. Looking forward to second eye operation as the difference in colours is remarkable.

I needed to get both cateracts removed. Whilst this was a little scary, I was looked after by the amazing team at Spa Medica. Surgery was pain free and professional. The results were perfect and they have restored my eye sight to a level I never thought was possible. Thank you so much for your care and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to recommend you to my family and friends.

I've had cataract surgery on both eyes this year. The waiting time for each one was 7 to 10 days and the treatment I received from reception staff, nurses, optometrists and surgeons was exceptional. I experienced minor complications after both surgeries but this was handled quickly and efficiently, speaking to an optometrist the same day for advice and getting an appointment for treatment within a week. I ended up going to Spa Medica 9 times in total for all my procedures and follow up tests and treatment. I can honestly say it was a pleasure to deal with such a friendly, yet professional organisation. If you need cataract surgery, get referred to Spa Medica and you won't regret it. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I had a pre assessment the week before, was made welcome and given a drink. Each nurse /staff member explained clearly and fully what was happening and why, it was a relaxing experience. Day of surgery I was nervous, because of the unknown and being sensitive with my eyes. From the first member of staff letting me into the building , i was asked how I was and reassured. The building is immaculate clean, bright and welcoming. Tea and coffee, and biscuits if wanted was offered in reception, pre op and discharge. Music played , softly relaxing easy listening, which gave a calming environment. Each room I was shown to, the staff were friendly and each stage I was told what they were doing. In the operating room , I was very anxious but the staff and surgeon reassured me every step of the way, once over, staff were comforting and I saw the discharge nurse, who also explained what to do once home, drops and care of eye. So the few hours passed quickly and once eye healed I can go for my next op feeling much calmer, thanks to the care I received. Thanks so so much to everyone
